Sometimes you don't need anything fancy....just functional and well-made. I just needed basic protection that a general face shield provides. This product does that. It was easy to assemble. The protective covering on the actual clear face shield carries cautions to be certain to remove the protective covering from both sides of the plastic. I really like the rotating knob to simply twist to adjust the headband for the perfect fit. Comfortable headband. The face shield swings up easily and I found it easy to adjust to stay in the up position until I was ready for it to swing down. If your needs are simple and straight forward too, like me, I think you'll like this face shield.

I do love the protection my face and eyes get from this mask for grinding glass BUT putting together though simple in theory was a bit tedious in execution. The little knobs you turn to have the clear partition lock into place were not as sturdy and a little giggly. It is comfortable however and fits perfect, it's easily adjusted to size also.

Great quality very nice and comfortable very well packaged and great protection

Bought this face shield to use in a medical setting (outpatient clinic). The plastic crown and ratchet headgear was surprisingly lighter than expected, the fabric padding on the headband also helped with comfort. I was able to wear it for a full day of clinic while wearing a surgical mask beneath without any problems. The face shield was crystal clear (must remove protective covering from both sides of the shield before first use) and there was no fogging (have had this problem with other face shields, no anti-fogging fluid needed so far with this shield). Ratchet headgear allows faceshield to be easily raised and lowered if needed, the whole apparatus also easily loosened or tightened for a comfortable fit with a few simple turns of a knob in the back. Space beneath the face shield feels roomy and not restrictive. All around coverage feels very safe and adequate. Would recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable face shield to wear for many hours in a clinical setting.

First, thanks to those who pointed out that there is a thin plastic barrier on the outside, AND on the inside of the clear shield. The exterior one was easy to remove, but the interior requires finding a place to peel it off. It is so closely fitting, that one fears something important is being peeled off, but it is just plastic, and the crystal clear shield awaits underneath. The shield itself is very nice for the price. I do a lot of Dremel grinding and trimming of hard, brittle plastic, and inevitably get small plastic chips and particles flying at me. I wear safety glasses, but the rest of my face still gets bombarded. This face shield completely eliminates that problem. Don't know why I didn't buy one of these a long time ago. My family says I also look much more "important" while working wearing this face shield. I can live with that.

It protects you as it should.

The face shield head gear is great, but the clear shield is slightly out of focus. It does have 2 protective covering film on the lens. A light blue-green color and clear one. Make sure you remove both films first. I have used many different face shields over the last 40+ years and some were poor, some good and some really great. Since, the company paid for the safety gear, I was lucky to get a great face shield because they also bought crappy face shields due to the disposable natural of the work. Here is how you can really tell if the clear shield is poor, good or really great. This test works with people who wear glasses and those who don't. Put the face shield on and look at some printed words with various fonts from 8 thru 14 on it with the face shield up. Focus on the print till it's clear and then put the shield down and look at the same print. If the word's go out of focus, then determine how much out of focus. Unfortunately, this mask shield (S-30120) is slightly out of focus and will cause eye strain if you need to use it for an extended period of time. I do miss the days when you can try on all the masks and pick the ones that matches your needs. Conclusion: Great for grinding or any work where you keep moving your head/eyes but bad if you have to focus at one point for more than a few minutes.

Oh, this is excellent. Good, tough materials, easily adjustable fit and made in Taiwan, not China. The window part comes with peel-off protective film on both sides so you start out with a perfectly clear visor. It makes me feel like that guy in the 'government creating jobs' advertisement with the cutting torch making a shower of sparks. You can't overdo the protection whilst On Da Jawb, not even with a face like mine.

Does the job it's supposed to; does fog up a bit but it's a cheap way to avoid metal shards in the face.

Overall, it was acceptable as a face shield, it flared out on the sides a bit but that was the design of the helmet and how the shield fit with it (acceptable); there were two plastic films protecting the shield - one is easy to take off (the one with words) the other plastic film was more difficult to remove - if you don't remove it the shield is blueish blur - you need to pick at it otherwise it will not peel off. Better instructions needed on the removal of the plastic film covering the shield or at least make it more obvious that the other plastic film is meant to be removed. Comfort level of the helmet is okay ; the shield covers the front and side of the head.

It arrived with minimal packaging - in a plastic bag. I like that I didn't have to toss a pile of packaging that was bigger than the item itself. The polycarbonate screen had a layer of protective film on both sides. Easy to peel off. And then super easy to assemble onto the head set (and easy to subsequently remove and replace). The head set adjustments are intuitive, and easy to make it a comfortable fit. Clear vision with no distortions, and I feel comfortable to grind, sand, saw and drill without fear of facial or eye injuries.
