3-9x42 Long Eye Relief Scope w/Ring for Mosin Nagant M44 M91/30 M38 1891/30 Mauser 98 K-98 K98

Great L.E.R. for the Mosin Nagant. Came with low rings that keep it close to the barrel top. This makes it easier to sight due to the downdraft angle of the rifle butt on my rifle. Medium rings were also included.

Over all I am satisfied; however, it took me a box of ammunition to figure out that the windage was actually the elevation and vis-versa. The nobs are interchangeable. At the factory they were put on backwards. Once I figured it out, I quickly adjusted. 2.5 boxes of ammunition later I was hitting 8” gongs consistently at 120 yards. The 9x zoom it nice. Quality seems good. I can hit a deer with it at 120 yards a few times a year. That is all I needed.

I custom built an 1893 Spanish Mauser. The 8mm round is no joke. The recoil has broke my bipod, chipped my stock and loosened my scope mount. The scope itself remains undamaged. Not a great field of view, but it's a long eye relief. And if you have a rifle like mine, you DO NOT want your eye anywhere near the scope ;) Not a super tight group yet, but not the scope's fault. The recoil jammed the sear, and my trigger pressure went from 6 pounds to 20 :( It is good knowing that with all the teething problems on this project, the scope hasn't been one of them. So yes, it can handle what your Mosin will dish out.

Scope is not adjustable. It looks like it is. Removing set screw you can see what should mesh to adjust, but both windage and elevation adjustments are fused static. Zero adjustment for either ( on my likely defective optic). If windage and elevation adjustments would work . . . It looks to have perfect eye relief for levers :(

Mounted on my .308 bolt rifle and with the exceptional eye relief was able to mount in front of the bolt so I didn't need tall mounts. The glass is very clear and I was able to obtain my target instantly. Love this thing. Had it zero in with only 4 rounds and shot a 1 inch group at 100 yards.

For starters, it's NOT 3-9, more like .75 to maybe 6 power. The windage knob lost it's ability to "click" withing 4 movements of the turret. I was mechanically zeroing with a mirror and it just quit clicking. I don't think it's too big a deal as I have it mounted on a lever action .44 Mag. I'll not e shooting past 150m, so it should be fine. I did get it to lock once the turret is pushed in at least. I'll try to come back and update once I shoot it. Biggest thing is... REMEMBER!! it's $70!!! don't expect perfection! I gave it 3 stars due to bang for the buck. It LOOKS good on my silver finished Marlin.

Great looking Scope. Hope it holds up to the pounding from my R92 454 Casull. Included tall ring mounts which made it fit and work on the R92. Thanks

Advertised as 3-9x. At the 3x setting, this scope offers no magnification (1x). Scope FOV is larger than TACFUN 2-7X32.
