I needed to keep my GH4 camera on for long periods of time, to be able to stream and Zoom. This product allows me to do that at a very reasonable price. It takes seconds to fit and saves me a fortune in batteries. Like all devices that rely on cabling, care is needed not to stress the cables. If this is done I look forward to using it for a long time. The item seems to be fit for purpose and I will probably buy a backup for the day when I get it wrong. I didn't check what Panasonic wanted for the factory unit but I'll bet it was a lot more than this one.

I’ve bought two and they are both working as the original ones.

Works well but due to the design of the GH-5 battery door, it's not possible to close it with the cable coming out - this however is not a huge issue - just be aware if you are tripod mounting you may have to adjust the baseplate so that the GH5 battery door doesn't conflict.

Works well on my GH5, 2 months on, no problems at all.

Was gutted about this as it was working OK, but we have three of these for our three GH5's and one of them has just stopped working. The real let down is we own a podcast studio, who film for hours, daily... and we are currently a camera down as we have no power on one of them. Happy to chnage my review if they do something about it

First time when I receive Item was faulty so got to send to Amazon for refund Receive next one today and everything is working right What I can say it’s holding power on Gh5 Thank you

Works at expected. Hopefully lasts
