Exceeded expectations. This is not an AC, so know you still have to leave windows open. I had little knowledge of swamp coolers, but many homes in OR do not have AC, as the climate is mostly consistently cold and if anything homes come with heaters. If you leavewindows closed it will make the room incredibly hot, to the point of being dangerous. Ask me how I know :). It is remarkably quiet, and we had a heatwave here with temps reaching 110s, and this thing just cooled very thing down to nothing I had experienced before living in the same place having to work from home and sweating profusely even with a fan and windows open. It is super quiet and you can't hear the pump at all. The remote works as expected, and the casters and overall build is industrial grade extremely quiet fan that has 3 settings. All it does is circulate the air in my 300sq ft studio, and humidify the air requiring it to cool down to evaporate in the dry hot air from outside. I did not really know what size to buy, but the 10gallon one worked out perfectly, as this goes through water pretty quickly. The fan rotates, but putting it directly on you isn't bothersome, as the fan power is gentle. I don't know about the ice being any help, as it doesn't make sense that the water being condensed into the air is any colder, but I don't have a way of proving this. May be mostly for marketing, but one of my favorite purchases from Amazon.

This tower fan is great. It is well designed with a quiet motor. The display panel makes it easy to use. It can swing back and forth to spread cool air around my room. It is perfect for hot days. I can choose from slow to fast breeze levels and different modes to suit my needs. I really like the timer functions that the fan would turn off automatically. The remote control makes it easy to use as well.

It worked great for the first year and a half now the cooling function is completely fried...The water system ccompletely failed and to repair will costs more than the unit because of the area its located in Arizona. Save your money and find an alternative solution

I would have liked it to be more powerful. Other than this it works fine.

First the assembly was very simple. The wheels make it easy to move around the house. Living in Arizona, summer is hot and dry so needed this air cooler to help cool the room down and keep the air nice and moist. The bottom tank is big and can hold a lot of water and will last a long time without worrying for refill. The water tank can probably be good for couple days if filled all the way up. I like the siwng function so it's not just one direction with cold air. Highly recommend to put cold water before use to get the air cooler faster. It does come with 4 refillable water packs but can also use other one if needed. Super easy and good quality. So far I have not notice leakage so it's great. The only down side is that it does get heavy if you will the tank up all the way and hard to move around after.

We use this in our garage. Its a huge difference in the hot summers keep the garage tolerable. I have food storage and needed a way to keep temps stable. Easy to put together. Easy to use. Has a strong blower fan and we'll for water is tight without drips. Our 2nd summer using this. Simply well made and fantastic for the price.

So I bought this until becacuse I'm planning on a few outdoor events an it works great! , you get what you pay for I love the many options this unit has it pretty much works like a swamp cooler so can't expect results like a refrigerant ac but does get cool enough it has three strong fan speeds enough to reach across a medium size room. The unit also has the option to add ice packs for me I felt no difference.

With the summer heat becoming unbearable, I really needed a cooling solution for my garage. The water tank allows for extended use without constant refills, and the 4 ice packs enhance the cooling effect. I don't always use the ice packs but when used this quickly cools down the area. The oscillation isn't noisy and doesn't disturb me while I work or in office calls. Its portability with wheels is a big advantage, making it easy to move between spaces.
