Beautiful, well-built range works perfectly.
Great gas range....easy delivery from Amazon. It arrived quickly, very well packaged and had no damage. It took us all of 10 minutes to hook up that gas and plug it in. We've used all the features and can say that it works flawlessly. As others have mentioned there is no way to tell when the oven is done pre-heating and has reached the set temperature so we bought an oven thermometer from Amazon. We're delighted with our purchase.

New oven damaged/faulty on arrival. Cosmo delays repairs for 7 months. Still unresolved.
DO NOT BUY FROM COSMO. We bought this range seven months ago. We immediately noticed that one of the knobs was askew, another wasn't properly attached, and on further investigation, saw that the valve behind the first knob (and beneath the manifold) was bentโso not damage due to delivery or installation. Add to that, a couple of the burners donโt consistently fire up AND the oven itself shuts off multiple times while heating up. Month 0 We contacted Cosmo right away with photos, videos, and a details about what wasnโt functioning properly. This went on for about 15 emails and a couple of phone calls. Month 1 They wouldnโt verbally acknowledge the bent valve for some reason, but sent us a replacement knob. Obviously the knob didnโt solve the problems we were having. We requested help again and they sent out a third-party technician who told us that they couldn't fixed the bent valve, but could try another knob spring, and that if that didn't work Cosmo would have to replace the oven. The tech said they would return when the spring arrived. Four weeks. No word from the tech. We call the tech. Part hasn't arrived. Cosmo is located about 40 mins from where we live, so we called Cosmo asking where this part was. Cosmo said, "Oh hey! We have one here on site we'll ship it today.โ Part doesnโt arrive at the tech for a few more weeks. Month 3 Tech is non-responsive and voicemail box is full. Sure, not Cosmoโs fault. We call Cosmo letting them know we couldnโt get in touch with the tech. They are able to reach the tech and he comes out again. Replaces the knob spring, but it doesnโt resolve any of the issues. Tech says he will talk to Cosmo. Another few weeks go by with no update. Month 4 We ask for an update from Cosmo. They say they still donโt know what the issue is but maybe there is something preventing the oven from detecting that there is gas going to the oven. Month 5 They send out a new tech. The new tech is here for an hour looking at the thing and says he needs to order a part but can't inspect the bent valve because he wants to wait to get the part before opening the manifold. Says he will contact Cosmo and schedule another visit. Month 6 We call the tech back asking where this part is. They say they ordered it 10 days prior and will just go ahead and schedule an appt. for the upcoming weekend. On the day before the appt., they call us canceling, saying that they received the wrong part. Month 7 We call Cosmo once again. We have been polite because we know their customer service isnโt responsible for the defective oven and we just want a resolution. We have been patient because we thought this could be resolved under warranty and we didn't want to return it, giving them the benefit of the doubt. This time we tell them that we no longer wish to wait on another fixโeither replace it or take it back and give us a refund. They tell us they cannot consider replacing it until they have exhausted all efforts to fix it. Seven. Months. For a brand new oven that doesnโt work. For an oven that has burners that will not light up on the first try and for an oven that sporadically shuts off when it feels like it. They asked us if we followed the instructions for lighting the burners. We sent them a video of us turning it on. We are beyond done with this company. Their entire customer service process is broken. Their third-party servicers are absolutely the worst technicians we have ever worked with. No communication. Delays upon delays hoping you will just give up. They are completely incompetent, and a worthless brand.

Great looking stove. Good value, but one flaw...
Our previous stove was also a Cosmo. We were reasonably pleased with it and so we are return customers, as the stove dimensions fit our kitchen space perfectly. Upon delivery, there were some noticeable dents on the sides of the oven. The item was packed well, so I suspect this was an issue in shipping. The dents are concealed by the counters, so not a huge worry. Overall, the oven looks great in our space and at half the cost of competitors. It seems to heat reasonably quickly. The burners work very well. The convection option on an all gas range is a nice touch. However, there is one notable flaw. There is no temperature indicator--either analog or digital to tell you a) what temperature the oven is currently at or b) when it has reached your target temperature. Therefore, we've had to purchase an analog oven thermometer to keep in the oven. Other than this minor flaw, we are overall happy with the purchase and would recommend it to others.

Cosmos: Doesn't get much better for the money
Having cooked professionally for the better part of two decades, I've grown a quiet appreciation for ranges that work as they were intended. And for years, I wanted that simple, basic stove that performs like the ones at most restaurants. Well, this is that range. No, you don't get all the bells and whistles: The "air fryer" or the "self-cleaning oven" or "web connectivity" or whatever the latest craze may be. What you do get is five strong burners and a professional convection oven. The beauty in this range is its simplicity. Let's start with the fact that I ordered this two days ago and it is installed and ready to pump out food as we speak. The fact that Amazon got this to me when other large retailers were telling me to wait almost a month just for delivery is glorious in and of itself. The courteous delivery folks arrived exactly on-time --to the minute actually and much to my surprise. And then they helped me strong arm this beauty into my kitchen. I really don't know what's with the reviews showing damaged ovens: This thing was packaged in a manner that it could have been hit by a cruise missile and still wouldn't have a scratch. Installation? If you're paying someone to install this, you're not very good with money. My seven-year-old could have probably put this thing together. The only thing it didn't come with is plumber's tape or compound to ensure the gas connection has no leaks. So put a roll of that in your checkout before you pay. Now onto the good part: Performance. After surviving with a basic 30-inch stove that really only had one hot burner, switching to this range is the equivalent of going from a Yugo to a Ferrari. I feel like the center burner could heat my whole house if need be necessary. The continuous cooktop is equally awesome, meaning you can slide heavy pots from one burner to the other. My one very minor --and I super stress 'minor' --complaint would be the size of the oven. It 'seems' small. But really, what do most people cook? No, you're not gonna be able to roast a water buffalo for your college reunion luau. But if you need to roast a 30-pound turkey? No worries! True convection means the oven heats up quickly and stays hot. Obviously, I can't speak to longevity. But having installed this stove, I really see very little that can go wrong with it. And if something does go wrong? It doesn't appear as though it'd be difficult to repair. At this point, my largest question is why so many folks rate this stove low. Even four stars seems way too low for a 36-inch professional-quality range at this price point. Simply put: If you're thinking about buying this, stop dithering, click buy-it-right-now and be done with it. My painfully long deliberation over this purchase was almost wholly needless. Kudos to Amazon and Cosmos for saving me a lot of time and hassle with other large retailers.

Wonderful stove
Excellent stove, very well made and designed. Good burner selection, broiler strong, the triple ring burner is great. And it's very nice looking. Update - after a couple of weeks all still true. Plus Cosmo has excellent customer service, we have had a number of questions and they've been very good about answering. FYI, not sure why some reviewers seem to have issues with installation, I did it myself and it was very easy. It you have natural gas, all you have to do is connect to the gas line, and plug in the electric. About the only thing that could go wrong would be if you put the regulator on backwards, which should be obvious once you realized there was no gas flow. If you have LP, you have to adjust the regulator and replace the valves, but that took me all of ten minutes. Further update, ignore the above. 3 weeks in the oven burner failed. In multiple ways, it wouldn't light, and if I lit it with a match it wouldn't stay on. Cosmo put me in touch with someone to fix it under warranty, and he told me to get rid of it, Cosmo never work for long. Which made sense, in addition to the oven problem, the burners are taught to ignite and keep lit. So I returned it, and bought a Thor, which so far I truly love. An actual well made stove.

Absolutely the worst customer service that one can imagine
If you want or need a 36" wide range, the choices are very limited below $3,000. Eighteen years ago, when the legacy 36" range in my new house expired, the home buyer's warranty covered only $500 toward the replacement. It was difficult to find a reasonably priced 36" range. In 2020, the situation has not changed much. The lowest priced 36" free standing ranges look like 30" ranges adapted with a 6" spacer. No, thank you! This Cosmo free standing gas range seemed to fit the bill: a beautiful appliance at an attractive price. Unfortunately, the retail outlets do not have floor models to examine before purchasing. Since it was the only one I liked, I decided to purchase it from Amazon to get fast, free delivery. I love this range! A couple of annoyances: it arrived very noticeably dented in multiple places at the bottom on both sides. {Not sure if this is from manufacturing or shipping; the range was well packaged and the shipping carton was intact. The dents are not visible when it is installed between cabinets.) The installation and user manuals are incomplete, incorrect, and non-intuitive. The manual says to install the anti-tip bracket (which is not supplied), but the range comes with attached anti-tip chains, not mentioned in the manuals. Also, the range needs a recessed electrical outlet, which could be avoided if the plug were a flat 90 degree type. In spite of these flaws, my only regret is having waited so long for this range. I would probably choose a Cosmo again if I need a range in another house. The user manual does have a lot of information on how to clean the various parts, and I thank the manufacturer for that. Photos: original setup on day 1, recessed electrical outlet, and anti-tip chain. Update: I based my purchase and original four-star review for this 36-inch range on its appearance, which is a nice upgrade for my kitchen. But functionally, it has been a disaster. The oven does not reach full temperature. After determining that it cannot be adjusted or calibrated for correct performance, I went through the warranty service procedure. A year after initiating the warranty service, a technician has visited exactly one time (several months after my request for service), informed me that parts will need to be ordered, and the range remains in the same unrepaired state as of late October 2021. Basically, the oven is only capable of slow cooking. The broiler and stovetop work fine. I also did not receive the three promised gifts for registering the purchase and posting to social media. Nor did I receive instructions regarding installation of the anti-tipping chain. It seems that Cosmo is absolutely the worst for customer service that one could imagine. I still find the appearance of the range pleasing and for that award two stars. But I regret this purchase and would not choose Cosmo again. Save up for a functional and attractive range. January 2022 Update: In November 2021, a second repair service contacted me and scheduled a repair call on behalf of Cosmo. The repair technician replaced the thermostat. Now the oven will not turn on. I have lost the bake and broil functions entirely. Furthermore, some of the stovetop burner knobs are now loose because they were not reassembled correctly (they are supposed to have springs). My once partially working oven does not work at all, and I have not been contacted about it (as promised by the repair technician) in two months. I have requested a refund from Cosmo for this range that has never worked correctly and now does not work at all, except for some of the stovetop burners.

Looks good but does not work
This was not a working product upon delivery. We had a technician come out twice to hook it up and then again to troubleshoot. The burners turn on but after 3 minutes they shut off. Then they wonโt turn back on until the burner is completely cool. I turned on two burners and the oven. After a few minutes they all turn off at the same time. I cannot use this stove at all and am not willing to pay someone else to come out and try to fix it. I am asking for a refund and will purchase a better name brand.

A good price and nice looking 36" gas range
I and my wife were looking for a 36" stainless steel gas range with a nice outlook and affordable price. Most of them are starting from $2,000 and up. Luckily, my wife found it from Amazon for under $1,700. We were not sure that it will be good as it's showed. However, my wife loves the way it looks and we saw many good reviews about it, so, we decided to buy it. We bought it with a 36" wall-mount range hood. Total under $2,000. We ordered it on 3/13 from Amazon and it arrived on 3/15. Fast delivery. It is a nice range and easy to install. I installed both, range and range hood within a day. My wife loves it.
