Alight i was looking for a Smart lock for my home and this lock "Golens X10 Luxury Smart Door Lock" happen to grab my attention. Spoke to the Golens guy customer care where he managed to convince me to buy the lock. Now for this particular model the carpenter charges were zero. but when the carpenter did come he wanted 1200 rs which i had to oblige, i complained to the customer care who promptly told me that the amount will get refunded. After 3 months of back and forth and still no resolution. The customer care says that the carpenter has done additional work and that amount is for that work which was completely false. Now for the technical part. 1. The lock itself looks good but clearly the make is from china, not that it matters but the instruction manual given seemed to be written by a 10 year old child. 2. The facial recognition refuses to register or recognize. 3. The supposedly app never works, i never managed to signup as it never sends you the OTP to the mail id. as i cannot login to the app, i have no clue about the various features claimed by the company for this lock. 4. The fingerprint scanner works perfectly and that is what i am using. 5. My door was 30mm as is recommended for their product and yet the carpenter was adamant that it needed extra thickness, luckily i had exta wood lying around which i managed to attach it to the main door by MY carpenter who was already working at home. The Golens carpenter guy had no knowledge about the product he was installing too. I regret buying from this company i would've been better off buying from the know brands who has excellent service. Learnt my lesson.

The product is excellent but a bit complicated for local carpenters to fix it. The company office based out of bikaner is hopeless when you reach out for installation and other support. Requires too much of coordination to get the lock installed. The product does not come with easy manual or at the moment does not have youtube video for demo. All in all good product - yes but hopeless people to deal with.

This pathetic Chinese product completely ruined my main entrance door during installation. The lock is cheap, poorly designed, and not worth a single rupee. The back screen never worked from day one, and even after they sent a so-called replacement, it still didn’t work. To make things worse, the seller has now stopped responding to support requests. Zero accountability, zero service. They happily take your money and disappear. Do yourself a favor—stay far away from this rubbish. Not only will you waste your money, but you might also end up damaging your property like I did. Shameful product, shameful seller.
