Cup Noodle Ramen Noodle Soup, Curry, 2.82 Ounce (Pack of 6)

These might be some of the best cup noodles out there. I don't like the little sausage bits but the curry flavor is nice and the noodles generally come out with a nice consistency, a bit more firm than the basic stovetop ramen. I tend to keep one at work as an emergency quick meal since they're super easy to make

They are great noodles in a tasty broth, good. But you'll need to add curry powder yourself to taste curry.

The cup noodle branding is typically good I buy on sale from the grocery whenever the some of the flavors are available. This is not available at any of the local stores but really should be. There are more seasoning and powdered curry and other veggies and spices in this than any of the other flavors like Korean beef. The price is pretty good as well, and the rich flavor is great. I use the microwave to make this which seems like the best option. The powered flavoring is very thick and densely packed around the noodles. I used a table knife to scrape part of it aside to add water. I could tell it took a little time for the water to infuse, and it dropped below the fill line, so I kept adding till stable. I cooked for about 90 seconds on my low power microwave, then removed and stirred it up some. The noodles were clumped together with the curry mix. Sixty seconds more and I stirred it again before the final cook. Unlike a lot of ramen and instant noodle cups the flavor was not some thin flavor that barely flavored the noodles and mostly slipped into the bottom of the cup. This was rich thick and stuck to the noodles to carry the flavor to my mouth. I'm not a big fan of spicey, so my review is colored a little. The flame loving spice addict will find this mild. I usually make mild curry myself, and this is slightly spicier than that, but still palatable to non-fire eaters. These foam containers work well too when cleaned up after they can insulate hot and cold drinks pretty well, and you can reuse to cook your own noodle concoction as well. The ingredient list is long and varied but I didn't detect anything particularly distasteful. Recommended.

It mostly just tastes like salt and vaguely like curry, it’s edible, but not great

Great flavor. At first it seems bland but then the spices kick in. Will definitely be purchasing again.

If you like Japanese style curry, you're gonna like this. There's not much more to say, they pretty much nailed the flavor in broth format. Awesome stuff, I buy it in bulk on Subscribe-and-Save.
