This chair is great! Its so easy to put together, pretty much 3 screws and then you plug everything together.I have the advance, so the additional seat space you can buy with the adjustment is well worth the extra cost.The Mesh back is very comfortable and offers great support including the adjustable lumbar support. I don't feel its made out of a cheap material and can definitely withstand quite some weight as I'm 6'6" and 360lbs. The casters roll just fine on hard surfaces like tile, vinyl, or hardwood.

I got it assembled in maybe 10 minutes. I followed the assembly video and it was perfect. Many comments said the paper instructions were bad, so I didn’t even look at them. A couple reviews said you need to buy wheels with this chair, which confused me a bit but it does come with wheels.I like how easy the chair is to adjust. For reference I’m 6’3” and slender. The lumbar support at the highest setting is perfect. The armrests can be easily adjusted as well, width and height. I find the narrowest setting fits most naturally, but they can go pretty wide as well. It has many different options for armrest height, so it was easy to fine tune. After adjusting to fit me, this chair is comfortable and supportive.It feels sturdy, but I cannot yet speak to its durability. Each piece of the chair seems solid and they lock together in simple ways without any apparent weak points. I hope to get a few good years out of it, and more would be great.Over 1 year later: still going strong. With college and a remote work, I have spent many hours sitting in this chair. You can't tell from looking at it and it's still sturdy and supportive.

18 Month edit - The seat cushion is completely dead. It's like sitting on a folded towel on top of a metal chair. I am sad. Otherwise I ended up really liking this chair. But, obviously it's not a savings if I have to buy a new one every year and a half. I guess I'll investigate whether they sell replacement cushions.Three stars because yes it is comfortable, but not amazing. Overall impression - very, very good for the price. Huge negative - the company tried to force me to pay for my own return. I fought and they relented, but such a pain.I had a $250 staples office chair for five years and wanted to upgrade, but I also hated the idea of paying $500+ (Or $1000+) for a chair. At work I have a Herman Miller aeron, so my butt experiences both the $250 and the $1200+. I read and watched a ton of reviews. This chair is universally accepted as the best in the price point. I convinced myself that this chair would be the $500+ experience, but for $300.I was wrong. It IS a really nice chair. Absolutely. Comfortable seat. Good adjustments. Lean-back is comfortable and not too weak or too strong. But it’s still in that $250-300 chair category so you have predictable weak points. The seat cushion is kinda weird and for me too short (and I’m 5’6”). I got the “lean back” option, so I had to decline the “seat move” option. I felt like I was sitting forward on the edge of the chair. Like a barstool. The chair makes creaking plastic noises when you move. But, the castors are VERY smooth and much better than my old $250 chair.Conclusion - if you like a $250 chair, this is probably the best in the $250-300 price point. If you’re looking to upgrade from that price point, you’ll be disappointed.* editing my own review - I bought a Herman Miller while I waited to return this HON, and I’m returning the HM and keeping the HON. I’ve grown to really like the high seating position!

I've been using a gaming chair in my home office for years. While it was very comfortable it always felt cheap. It creaked and multiple parts broke, including the stem for the gas piston. While the company did honor their warranty it still meant I spent many days without a comfortable office chair. Finally my dog got his collar stuck on the recline handle and broke it out of warranty. This time I decided to go the office chair route. This was one of the few on my short list and it had 1 day shipping. 21 hours after I ordered it had arrived. Box was in good shape. Putting this chair together was breeze. This chair is very adjustable so I spent some time adjusting everything to my liking. Ergonomically everything fits just right. However, and I suspected this from the pictures, the padding in the seat is quite stiff upon arrival. That meant this chair was uncomfortable.. at first. Now that I've had it over a week, and added the HON headrest, the comfort level is rising. I think over time as the foam becomes less stiff the level of comfort will continue to go up.tl;dr: Upon arrival I probably would have only given this chair 3 stars but it has increased to a 4 after a week of breaking it in. Hopefully my prediction is correct and I can increase it to 5 as time goes by. I'll update if/when it becomes relevant.Update: After a month, the padding has been thoroughly broken in and my sitting experience is an enjoyable one. Fifth star earned!

Intriguingly, the option to avail it through Amazon with a zero-percent loan for 5 months, requiring only a $106 as the first down payment, added to its allure.Unpacking the chair, I marveled at its design, especially noting the substantial weight of the seat, indicative of a high-quality build. However, the assembly process was marred by a manual with minimal guidance and diagrams that did not align with my specific chair, raising uncertainty about a potential mix-up.Furthermore, the adjustable seat depth mechanism seems to be visibly bent level. While the concept of a simplified assembly with only three bolts seemed promising, the provided Allen wrench proved inadequate for two of them, necessitating a tedious workaround.Aesthetic concerns surfaced as well; the fabric failed to adequately cover the particleboard beneath, coupled with a protruding staple. Despite its comfort, the realization that such details marred a chair priced at $864 prompted contemplation on its overall value.Regrettably, this initial experience has cast doubt on the anticipated quality and longevity of the product. Considering the issues encountered, the prospect of exploring alternative options seems prudent, as this instance leaves a distinct impression of unprofessionalism from the company.It feels like I got a used chair sold as new but half off hoping people wouldn’t notice.

Relatively firm upholstered seatwith mesh back. I got the version with adjustments allow sliding the seat forward and back as desired and adjusting the tension of the back spring. Seems well made and sturdy. Assembled easily even though the directions switched between two different chair models as I went through the process.

I regret buying this chair. I loved it on the first day. It is very comfortable and it is great when it works but the elevation adjustments for the arms are totally unreliable. The one on my right arm stripped out the day after the chair came out of the box. This is obviously not an inexpensive chair. When I was shopping I was comparing this chair to models from Herman Miller and from Anthros which are both a price point above this one. In retrospect it was a bad decision to try to save a buck. A $500 chair should not have problems like this.

UPDATED —I’ll leave my original review below. After first impressions, the chair quickly started to squeak and it was so incessant that I got some WD-40. That helped for about two minutes and then it was back to squeaking with the slightest. In addition to the annoyance, I never could get really comfortable. It feels kind of stiff, even with the knobs fully “open” for easy reclining.My first impression was around how sturdy it was, and seemed to be a positive up front, but soon transformed to “stiff” as my main impression.I would return it if I could, but it’s just to large to carry down to a UPS and I don’t have the box so I assume there’s no option to do that anyway :/I can’t say how much of this is my experience or all chairs. I mean that the seat adjusts to the same range I've had on almost all office chairs at various jobs (and the old chair I had at home). I'm 5'10" and my feet rest evenly on the floor while the chair is at its tallest position. I like to give it one quick pull of the lever so my heels have some weight on them and I'd say that's maybe an inch lower from maximum. At the very lowest setting it feels like my hip is slightly lower than my knees (maybe by a couple inches).All I'm saying is that the size of this chair the "Ignition 2.0 Mid-Back[...]" is perfectly normal if you've ever had a desk job, this will be about that size. In terms of the height of the back, it fully supports my shoulders but it stops just at my neck.Obviously there are dimensions and specs for the chair on here but I was so thrown off by a "6-ft 200-lb" reviewer thinking that this chair was too big for him. It felt worth describing my experience.One final point is that I have an entirely positive experience with the chair so far, but it's just a regular chair so I'll hold back on 5-stars until I feel like it's something above all the rest. I think it's good value for the price but I can't be objective there because I'm going to expense this purchase to my employer haha

This was probably the worst install experience I’ve ever had with a chair. Typically, installing the wheels are the finishing touch and satisfying ending to the chair install but this was not the case. Not only did the wheels did forever to get pushed in, all of the wheels Fitment was not perfect. Every single one of these wheels are off by .mm from one another . Other cheap chairs I have used in the past just push click done, this one I had to use full force/nudging/twisting everythingI’m so disappointed considering this was over $7xx dollars.

One of the most terrible chair that you can get. Gave me back pain within 2 hours. Lombar support is a simple plastic plate. Way to expensive for what it is.
