Disappointed
The two Nestdiverts were positioned in the apex of a gable. Fitted as instructed onto smooth, clean plastic surface one came unstuck after three days but the other remained right into the apex. However, the house martins managed to construct a nest which 'incorporated' the plastic fingers!I reluctantly give one star to reflect my own experience on this occasion but I may well try the product again next year.

Do not purchase
Easy to install, however the little birds were determined to try and build their nest in between the fingers of the deterrent it resulted in a week of watching them make an unsuitable nest, when we tried to remove the deterrent it was stuck fast and had to break the fingers leaving plastic base behind. One of them came away with the paint from the eves attached! I regret buying this product in reality What harm were the birds doing.

Easy to install. Looks like its working.
Good product. Easy to install and seems solid enough to withstand bad weather. Also it as discreet as the product blurb suggests.I believe it has deterred the starlings that were bothering us (3-4 weeks now), but it'll probably take a season to confirm this. It would be nice to have range of sizes potentially as the area I needed it for was a bit longer.

No more bird mess!!!!
I had this installed last year and its still up and it has done exactly what it says it should. When i bought my house, it had a nest in the apex and lots of bird poo all down the windows. When i opened the windows, all the bird poo fell inside... not nice!! so after cleaning up all the mess and steaming the window casements as best i could, i looked for a solution and found this. It was very cold when the gentleman installed it so we had to heat it up with my hair-dryer but that worked and it has remained in place.. I hoping that it will stay in place now its been there for a year. So up to yet, thumbs up for this product :-) thank you very much :-)
