Consistently Excellent: The Elegoo PLA+ Black 2x 1kg Pack is a True Workhorse
I have always been impressed with the quality and value offered by Elegoo's products, and I'm happy to report that their 2kg multipack of black PLA+ filament is no different. This is a fantastic, reliable filament that has quickly become my go-to for a huge range of projects. From the moment you open the box, the quality is apparent. The pack contains two individually vacuum-sealed 1kg spools, and each one is immaculately wound. This attention to detail is crucial as it prevents tangles and ensures smooth, hassle-free printing from the start of the spool to the very end. In terms of print performance, this PLA+ is flawless. It required minimal tuning to get dialled in, and the results speak for themselves. The extrusion is incredibly consistent, leading to clean prints with excellent layer adhesion and minimal stringing. The filament produces a deep, satin-black finish that looks professional and clean every time. As a PLA+ material, the prints also have a noticeable improvement in toughness over standard PLA, making them more durable. The 2x 1kg multipack is a fantastic value proposition. It offers a great price-per-kilogram and the convenience of always having a fresh, sealed spool ready to load up as soon as the other runs out. It's perfect for stocking up on a reliable, everyday filament. Overall, if you are looking for a dependable, high-quality black filament that you can rely on for print after print, I can't recommend the Elegoo PLA+ 2x 1kg pack enough. It lives up to the high standards I've come to expect from Elegoo, and I am, once again, a very happy customer.

Consistently good
This filament is great, it's been my go to filament for the past year and always get great results. PLA+ means it's a lot more sturdy than regular PLA but not as strong as PETG so it's a nice middle ground. The cardboard spool is a welcome change as it's easier to recycle once you finish a roll. 2kg is a great bargain for the price point. Would recommend this.

Good quality PLA
Very good PLA, I've never had a tangled spool and it always sticks well to the print bed. I've had the same nozzles on my printers (Neptune 3 pros) for a long time and this has never caused a clog. I use it for small models that I paint and also larger functional parts and it's very strong with the right print slicer settings. I would definitely recommend it.

Best filament I've tried to date
This is easily the best filament I have tried to date. Melt point is perfect, it feeds smoothly through the head with no spitting or coughing, it's smooth, clean and gives a beautiful finish as long as you have the printer dialled in correctly. I have had no failures from this pla over several reels now. Unlike many other filament types I have tried that have failed once in a while. Not one, that in itself is impressive and I am at a loss to explain why. Perhaps it's better adhesion, or smoother melt, or whatever. I am so happy with this though that it has become my go-to PLA when I want to print something for show rather than the game board or wargame scatter. I tend to use the Amazon PLA for mot of the junk I print as it doesn't have to be particularly special for a game board, but statues and ornaments. this is the one. Wish I'd known about this sooner though, it could have saved me a deal of money spent on PLA that is pretty awful. Great value for money if only for the clean finish, no stringing and consistent behaviour. All the way through the spool it's the same, no change - just perfect, clean, smooth prints. Good price, great filament, great results. Can't ask for better.

Good filament, poorly wound
I've used many types of filament for the fixtures that I produce and was wary of this one because of the price. My go-to is Polymaker; however, the filament is dry (less than 30% RH from the bag) and prints very nicely and no stringing on my BambuLab P1S and A1... BUT! Both reels stalled in my AMS because the filament got stuck after about 1/3 of the reel, and then about six times before it ran smoothly again. I got fed-up with clearing the stall and restarting the prints, so I rewound it onto a spare BBL reusable spool. Additionally, the cardboard spool slips on the AMS rollers, so needed the insulation tape trick. I'd like to keep using it but I don't want to have respool very time.

Good prices and good filament.
I pretty much now exclusively print with Elegoo. No issues with quality I have used about 10kg so far! Perfect prints and great colours. All but one spool wound perfectly. I have never had any damaged spools. I use these in my Bambu lab printer using generic pls profile but normally just use the bambu pla profile as I forget to change it, never an issue. I suspect Elegoo's own printers may produce better prints with their brand of filaments?

Not great pla +
This stuff does not preform that's probably why it's cheap the layers do not bond properly. As soon as I switched back to sunlu it worked fine. If you are printing items that require different supports don't bother. It seriously needs to gel better I think that it's only good for solid objects. I've tested it on various shapes and it doesn't print the benchy very well at all. Settings no matter hotter or colder it comes out poorly. Stick to sunlu sometimes you only get what you pay for. It for some reason has a slight cotton like fur the finish is not clever. The colour is OK. This does not string or adhere to the print glass properly.
