For the last 10 years now I have always gotten an otterbox case for every phone. Usually the same “commuter” style case. I can honestly say that for the last decade this manufacturer has helped to keep each phone in pristine condition. Whenever my phone has fallen when protected by an otterbox case there has been no damage. This time I decided to stray from the “commuter” series and go with this “defender” model for 2 reasons. The first being that I wanted to be able to see my phone while still having the peace of mind knowing it’s encased and secure. The clear back allows for this while still protecting my phone. Also, this particular “defender” case is not ridiculously bulky as previous models. The second reason I chose this model was because it’s a MagSafe case. For me this kills two birds with one stone! Not only is my phone secure and visible but also in a case that has some grip to it. Which is something the commuter case somewhat lacked. (Even though that is a five star case too). But I also love that the built in magnet allows me to use the MagSafe charger. I would recommend investing in a glass screen protector as one is not included with this case. And though the raised edges around screen and camera provide protection, it won’t hurt to be safe and get something to cover the screen. WARNING! I learned after receiving the case is that I have yet to find a camera lens protector that will fit. The cutout for the camera has raised edges to help protect, but do not allow enough space for a glass lens protector to stick on. I have already gone through 2 of them. They cannot adhere to the camera to protect against a nasty fall with this case. That is the only downside I’ve found so far. Gonna try a different lens protector and see what happens. Oh and the color options are pretty neat too! I chose the black frame to accent the natural titanium. Looks great and feels safe. If a phone costs $1000 or more, I think it’s best to protect it as much as possible.

This Otterbox Series lasted my brand new iPhone 15 Pro for 2 years. The wear and tear doesn’t look nearly that bad, and it still held up drops in its broken condition. I highly recommend this series.

I got this to replace my Pelican Case, had a few in a row go bad so wanted to try something else. Usually don’t like two part cases, just something about how the rubber outside joins to the plastic insert never sits flush or comes undone after prolonged usage. I went with the blue and usually keep this in my back pocket in blue jeans, I don’t think the rubber on the case has been effected ( no color transfer onto case). Still appears to be the same blue as it was when I got it. As to what I mentioned before about how the rubber meets the plastic, it’s much better on these new Otter Boxes. Sits very flush and even when the case really wants to grab onto the lining of my jacket, back pocket etc. it has yet to pull the rubber from the plastic insert. The battery opening seems to function very nice and stays put when not in use, I see no signs of tearing at the base of the port after about 3 months of daily use with this phone. I don’t wireless charge, so I use the port daily. Holding tight. It has a lanyard loop, which is super nice, never had a lanyard on a phone before and I gotta tell you it’s a game changer. Phone has taken some pretty hard drops, and the case shows little to no damage after. I’m not quite sold completely on this case, longevity is my main concern. Rubber like this unfortunately has a wear out and become lose with time and or tear, as it’s only been 3-4 months I can’t say. What I can say it’s that it’s holding up really well so far, when more time has passed I’ll update this with daily wear and tear photos as time goes on.

The Otterbox iPhone Defender cases have been my go-to phone cases when I get a new iPhone. They provide excellent protection. The Defender Series XT Clear Case is a bit thinner and lighter than the previous Defender cases I've had - very nice improvement! A plus of the clear case version is that one can see most all of the back of the phone, to enjoy the color they chose.The phone store where I bought my iPhone did not seem to have this case - or, I may have passed on it due to it not having the belt holster with it. I purchased this via Amazon, and it did not come with the holster. Before the case arrived, I ordered the holster separately, directly from Otterbox. When the case arrived, there was a printed note in the package with instructions and a code to order the holster and only pay shipping and handling (~$50. So, I now have a back-up holster for if/when the first one breaks.I highly recommend the Otterbox Defender cases, and particularly the Defender XT Series to new owners of the iPhone 15 Pro.

Overrated brand name. The rubber at the charging port tore off after a few months. After normal use, the plastic on all sides of the case has become cracked and broken. Didn't protect my phone, which is now damaged. When I tried filing a warranty, the site said it had trouble updating my cart, and wouldn't file the claim. I tried different cases, defects, dates of purchase, so it is their website design and support, not an issue with my request. When I tried calling customer support, the wait time was over an hour. The AI chatbot didn't help. Their "lifetime warranty" and 3-year warranty are BS and they'll do everything to keep you from filing one. There's better brands and better cases out there that will actually honor their warranties. Don't be fooled by Otterbox. Will never buy from them again

Top Hülle, passt perfekt. Nichts ist locker und nach einigen Abstürzen ist die Hülle noch top. MagSafe Magnet haltet auch sehr gut.Kann ich weiterempfehlen für alle die einfache ne solide Hülle mit staubschutz wollen.

The absolute best thing you can put your phone in... The ONLY thing that would make this 100% Perfect is if it had a Moment Lens adaptor.The Magsafe on these XT cases is wickedly strong and directional to keep your phone upright. This is a long way ahead of any other iPhone case for magsafe strength...The protection it offers is fantastic. Very grippy too, and the buttons feel perfect, but the little plastic notches on each side do make it hard to feel where the buttons are if you're not looking at the phone. No idea what those are for.

This case has now been on my iPhone 15 pro since the day I got it almost 2 years ago. It has been dropped many many times and been protected by this case every time. I will absolutely be buying another one for my next phone!
