can you adjust bowl level

Lift the mixer arm and locate the large screw where the base meets the arm.
Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the screw counter-clockwise to raise the beater head or turn it clockwise to lower the beater head.
The beater head should pass only about 1/16th of an inch above the base of the bowl. One good way to get the height right is to place a dime in the bowl and adjust the height until the beater head barely brushes the dime as it passes.

My mixer leaves liquid at the bottom of bowl when i whip egg whites or cream.  the whip reaches the bottom.  can anyone advise please?  tx!

Start with Room Temperature egg whites (no yolks please). Mix with whip attachment at low speed for one minute.. add a small pinch of salt or two drops of lemon juice. Increase speed to medium for another minute: you should see consistent, small bubbles form ... all the same size. If it has large, medium and small bubbles, you are mixing too fast.  Increase speed to med high and whip until soft peaks form... while mixing... add sugar (superfine bakers if possible) a serving spoon at a time. Keep mixing until sugar is gone.  You should have a wonderful, shining confection that holds its peaks.  Nothing on the bottom of the bowl. If the eggs whites break and are liquid and runny.... you should reread this and follow it.  Technique is very important to get wonderful results.  Good mixing ...

What is the difference between the classic & artisian? Also, scat attachments come with it?

The Classic is slightly smaller and less powerful.  You probably won’t mind the power step-down if you are using this for things with soft batters like cake, brownies and cookies.  But if you’re looking for a mixer that can knead bread dough this is not the mixer for you. 
~The Classic comes in a limited number of colors. Good news is that you don’t have to worry about changing your kitchen colors if you have a white Classic. But the rainbow of colors Artisan offers is a whole lot more fun. 
   In order to keep the Classic’s trim profile the standard-issue bowl has no handle. That’s pretty much a deal breaker for me. The handle is more than useful if you want to lift the bowl and then hold while folding the contents into another bowl or baking pan.
~one very real advantage the Classic has over the Artisan is its ramped-up starting. When you start the Artisan is goes from 0 to 60 while the Classic ramps up to 60 by taking small steps — much less of a chance for spattering. 
~If you’re on a budget and want a mixer that’s a cut above its similarly priced and sized competitors you’re not going to go wrong with the Classic. But if you can afford more — or can wait until you save up — the Artisan, with its increased power and  amazing color palette, is the one to get.
