Use Repositionable Scotch 6065 for Anything with Weight - Such As Acoustic Foam Panels
In the attached video, I've hung 12"x12"x2" acoustic foam panels in my office studio. Around 180 of them. Scotch 6065 Repositionable Spray Adhesive is the ONLY repositionable spray adhesive... which still works when you follow the directions. Loctite and Elmers also make a repositionable spray adhesive, but it struggles to hold anything heavier than photo paper or construction paper. I DID find a way to make Loctite and Elmers work... by spraying the foam and IMMEDIATELY mounting the panel to the wall (directions tell you to wait between 3 - 5 minutes). However, this reduces the repositionable feature, and also leaves a slight 'tack' on the mounting surface. So what I've discovered is that Scotch 6065 is the only one in which you spray, wait the recommended amount of time (just one minute!) and then proceed to mounting. This makes Scotch 6065 the 'strongest' adhesive, while still remaining repositionable. I've had to move the panels numerous times, and have never had damage to the panels or the mounting surface (a interior latex painted wall). I have also not had the problem of the foam disintegrating against the adhesive, nor the problem of the mounting surface remaining 'tacky' after the panel removal. One thing I must state is that after you remove something for repositioning, you WILL most likely need to re-spray the object with a light spray. This doesnt make it not-repositionable, it just meant that to reposition you will need to re-apply LIGHTLY (otherwis you may run in to the problems I mentioned earlier). You may be able to get away with using the Loctite or Elmers equivalent for EXTREMLY light mounting projects. However, Scotch 6065 has been the easiest repositionable adhesive to use, and I intend to keep using it. JHA

Great for sewing!
This works great for appliqué of spandex pieces for costumes and dance or cosplay - to hold in place until you can sew it down. I’ve found that it doesn’t bleed through or create wet looking spots. You can reposition it a bit so don’t worry too much if your pieces stick to themselves while you’re trying to get it positioned. It doesn’t cause a lot of hassle to sew through it - some adhesive gets transferred to your needle and there’s the challenge of appliqué on spandex with a zigzag stitch but it’s the best option I’ve worked with.

Excellent spray for mounting!
Worked perfectly!!! Definitely using again. Adhesive qualities were great, allowed me to remove and reapply and stick. Had no issues with smell and everything looked great.

Works very well
I used this to mount large architectural renderings to foam core. Works really well, allows for trial and error.

Just sticky enough...
I use this product to mount templates on smallish wood projects, cribbage boards, cutouts, and the like. It provides the perfect amount of stick, and removes again easily without leaving residue. It's not so good for hanging pots, however.
