Je l'ai fait découvrir avec un grand succès à de nombreux amis non joueurs. Le jeu combine exploration et stratégie militaire à l’aide de trois sortes de cartes (cartes « Actions » redistribuées à chaque « Saison » de la partie, cartes associées à des territoires et cartes surprises « Récit épique » à obtenir dans certaines circonstances). Les trois différentes conditions de victoire, l’excellent équilibre des cartes « Actions » (pas forcément visible durant les premières parties) et la diversité apportée par les cartes « Récit épique » rendent le jeu extrêmement subtile et permettent une rejouabilité immense. Je n’ai pas souvenir d’avoir joué deux parties qui se ressemblent. Le hasard est suffisant pour diversifier les parties mais n’a, de mon expérience, aucun impact sur le choix du vainqueur.
