ALLEVYN GENTLE BORDER, Adhesive Foam Border Dressing, 7.5 CM X 7.5CM, Pack of 10

Expensive but worth it, protective, soft and non-stick with easy removal.

I ordered these 10 x 10 as thought they may be better with greater padding coverage than the same type but 7.5 x 7.5. However, i now feel that the smaller size works better on some body parts. Most of this dressing is padding with just a narrow silicone border whatever size you choose to buy. They are still the best dressing out there and they remove from the skin without causing any damage particularly to older skin types and cause no sensitivity. Would like to see Allevyn make a traditional gentle border oval version for those that prefer that to the less padded Allevyn Oval Lite dressing. Quite expensive for 10 and best for wounds that don't need a dressing change daily.

I have been using these to cover an infected wound and they have been great. They provide just the right level of cushioning and are waterproof too. I have sensitive skin and these dressings were good and didn’t cause irritation. They also don’t pull my skin too much when being removed and don’t leave any adhesive residue either.

Very good dressing which can be left on without skin irritation as it's breathable and waterproof. Easy to apply and remove as it doesn't stick to the wound.

Bought these after our super-caring GP and Pharmacy messed up a prescription late on a friday before a bank holiday monday. They worked reasonably well, and a lot cheaper than over-the-counter stuff from your chemist.

Same dressing as used at health centre, very skin friendly, remain in place, but also easy to remove.

Dessa plåster är dyra men så bra om man har svårläkta sår och dessutom inte tål vanliga plåster. Kan sitta på länge så att såret får vara i fred och läka.

The allevyn 10x10cm (4x4in) is in fact 3x3in, to small, no good.

Ich kenne Allevyn aus dem Alltag als Pflegefachkraft. Sehr gut verträgliche Wundauflage und mit dem Silikonrand so gut wie schmerzfrei zu entfernen. Der Preis ist unschlagbar für diese Wundauflage. Ich benötige sie für eine postopertive Wundheilungsstörung als Sekundärverband und als Selbstzahler ist das absolut angemessen. Duschen absolut kein Problem, hält bombenfest. Die Saugkraft ist wunderbar. Tip: bitte vorher testen ob eine allergie gegen Silikon besteht!
