It takes quite a few hours to put this kitchen island together. The instructions aren't particularly clear but with though patience one can figure it all out. It's clear from the moment that you open the boxes - the island is delivered in two, very heavy boxes - that this is a good quality item. You assemble the island in parts which then have to be put together. It all fits perfectly ie no need to push parts to make them fit. The only comment that needs to be made is that it is best to get a short screwdriver for some if the fixings. Then it was so finished it looked very good, it was a solid piece of furniture and it didn't move at all. Highly recommended.

This island unit is very good value for money. It's very solid when it's put together, my only criticism is the flimsy thin hardboard drawer bottoms and the back panels of the unit, they could have done with being at least twice as thick. Don't put anything too heavy in the drawers and you should be fine though. Looks good, lots of storage and good size solid rubber wood worktop. It did take 2 of us four hours to assemble however it was fairly straightforward, diagrams are easy to follow, just be methodical and take your time.

Excellent, great quality. Took a while to build but worth it. Very stylish and excellent size. Worth the money.

Beautiful strong good looking unit with plenty of space value for money dont get the back being so flimsy tho, the rest is so solid.. Please do a putting together service,I would have paid ! instructions could be a little more descriptive three evenings to put together but lovely unit definitely worth the money ...

Much easier to assemble than other reviews suggest. I’m a reasonable competent DIYer and managed it in a day despite having to take it steady because of previous lung surgery. Looks great, quality good.

I have had this kitchen island for almost 2 years now and it’s been a game changer for my flat. It’s held up perfectly with daily use and still looks excellent. ​Assembly: It took me about 2 hours to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow ​Packaging: It arrived very well packaged, so no scratches or missing pieces. ​Function: The drop-leaf top is great I can tuck it away when I need more floor space or flip it up for a quick breakfast. ​If u r looking for something sturdy that looks great in a smaller space, this is a solid choice. Still very happy with it!

Extremely heavy and well made (once I'd assembled it). Took about 4 hrs but was well worth the time, looks amazing, lots of storage space, very happy with my purchase.
