I bought the Shark SmoothStyle because I loved the pink color and its elegant finish. Plus, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a single tool to dry, volumize, and straighten with less damage than traditional flat irons. It leaves your hair looking beautiful, sleek, and naturally bouncy. I love it because it heats up super fast and is easy to use. The price-quality ratio is very good because it combines multiple devices into one: hair dryer, volumizing brush, and straightening comb. In the long run, you save money and space by not needing so many tools. I realized that it solves the basic need: getting your hair dry, styled, and frizz-free in a short time. It works both for styling after washing and for touching up the next day, provides high-quality drying, and gives great volume to the hair. I recommend it because it’s a very necessary tool to have and use in our hair care routine.

For me, it’s been working wonders! The heat settings are in proper temperatures, though I always use the lowest because “less damage”. It has been really easy to use, it leaves my hair really smooth and doesn’t make knots or rips my hair out. But of course, that has to do a lot with what routine you have and how well taken care of your hair is. Before using it I put on an oil for the temperature and the knots, it makes my hair soft and I wait for it to dry. The shark passes smoothly and does its function! And after I finish an anti frizz, and my hair looks lovely!

The Drybar blow dryer brush was what I wanted so bad! I've had my eye on it for months. However there is NO way I could ever feel ok spending that kind of money on a dryer brush. After searching more I found the Shark dryer brush for half the price. I made the purchase. Day one of using it I was instantly impressed and mad at myself for never having tried a dryer brush before. I felt fancy like I just had my hair professionally done. It looked so good. Even the next morning. I excitedly told my coworker who said she owns the Drybar one and would bring it for me to try. I spent equal time with both brands to be sure about my feelings on which is better. TRUST ME when I say that the Shark is the one you want. Both brushes worked exactly the same with the basic function of a blowout style. Identical. There were only two features that the Drybar had and the Shark lacked, they were minor though; the Drybar had a very long cord and was light weight. Long cords are a game changer! As wonderful as those two details may be, are they worth a $110 difference!? No. Other details that made me question why a product can be priced so ridiculously high compared to one with a much lesser cost... Both dryers had identical noise levels. Both were the same length and shape. Both had 3 heat settings. Both glided through my hair the same. Both left my hair shiny, soft, healthy looking, full of volume and bounce. Both took exactly 15 minutes to dry my hair. What the Shark had and the Drybar lacked: the Shark has a little hook on the cord to hang the dryer, a wet and dry function (you don't even need to turn it off to go from one function to the next), visible heat settings that are easy to read whereas with the Drybar you literally have to search for the settings because it's all yellow, air flow is steady, lastly the Shark feels solid like if it were to drop it would no even get a scratch, it's made from quality material whereas the Drybar is a thinner material and has zero grip. So two points for Drybar and six for Shark. Now that I've had both in my hands and hair I can honestly say there is ZERO reason to get the Drybar brush, not unless the long cord and cute yellow color are that important to you. The Shark is an excellent dryer brush and comb. You will never regret getting it.

Takes a little practice but once you figure it out it works great and saves me a lot of time. I have thick, curly, mid length hair that tends to frizz and doesn’t have a consistent curl pattern. I prefer to wear it smooth and straight. This device allows me to get good results at home. Saves me money since I’ve been able to reduce frequency of going to my blow dry bar. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s a very bulky tool, especially for someone with small hands. That said - I use it regularly and do recommend

I bought specifically for day 2 touchup and/or post gym. Loved idea of one tool to achieve both. Did not intend to use as wet-to-dry product. I usually use Dyson products, however, I have not been pleased with those lately on my hair type for any kind of day two styling. They only work for me after wash days, leaving Me sort of stranded for touch up styling the rest of the week. This product was bad for any hair. First, it immediately smelled like burning plastic. The smell transferred to my hair after only a few passes and this is on the blow dry setting only. Also, after one light use, there were brown streaks on the plastic, they looked like scorch marks, since they were not from buildup on my hair (like what you can see on the edge of a flat iron sometimes). I tried scraping at it with a nail and it was definitely in the plastic. Somehow this tool burned hot enough internally to make the odor and marks on its surface, but yet it still was not powerful at all on my hair. It hardly had any blow drying effect, and no end curling whatsoever. I’ve heard great things about the shark products, so I’m hoping this is just a flop for the first generation and the company improves, because the concept to have two and one is really great but this completely missed the mark and I ended up sending back without any more attempts because it truly felt like a hazard. I do not recommend this product to anyone based off of that hazardous experience alone, but even if that had not occurred, the product simply does not perform any task well. I could not imagine blow drying my hair with this with all the good products on the market, it would absolutely take forever. The smoothing plates also do not heat up warm enough for any styling effect, just enough to make the hair stinky. Hopefully this helps spare anyone from wasting their money on this product or damaging their hair.

Amazing product. Gets quite hot and you can really achieve great results. Easy to create natural curls. The heat setting is great to freshen things up the next day and take the fri,I out and reshape the curls. A little heavier than most but still easy to handle. Would definitely buy it again.

Unfortunately it’s 120 volts so it needs a voltage regulator costing 250 to 400 AED So be careful before buying it if it’s not suitable for your country

Stopped working after 3 months. Really disappointing.

La verdad me encanta ! No tiene la potencia para sacar como el Revlon pero si lo usas para estilizar lo deja hermoso, tengo la secadora de shark y siempre se apaga por el voltaje con esta no tengo ese problema y la función de cepillo térmica hace el acabado muy lindo! Recomendado 😍
