Arrived well packaged and in good condition but dormant with no growth as winter nearly over Soaked roots for 6hrs and then planted in a very large square pot with good mix of soil and some fish blood and bone fertiliser Left in greenhouse for 3 weeks and is now moved out against a south facing wall and looking very healthy with lots of new growth Very pleased with my purchase Time will tell if il be gifted with a healthy crop Update 1st crop healthy and started to appear spring of second year approx 1.5kg of plums just waiting for them to rippen

This tree was completely bare, but it's started blooming very quickly. I don't know yet how it will fruit, but pleased so far.

Very small plant and very disappointed with the quality. Has not grown

The plant has died despite following all the instructions for a bare root plant, complete waste of time and money.

This arrived two days after I ordered it. Well packaged. The total height was about 1.20 metres but it looks shorter in the ground - see photo. On the positive side it seems healthy with a good root system and should do well. I will review again in a few months to give a report on progress. Three stars for now but I might upgrade this if it proves vigorous and fruitful.

First time of ordering a living plant from Amazon and first time of planting a bare root tree. It arrived as basically a twig with roots. I followed the instructions to soak the roots for a couple of hours prior to planting and after a week, starting seeing some green shoots appear. After 4 weeks there is plenty of greenery which I was not expecting. Very happy with purchase and would recommend.

My bare root Victoria plum arrived before the estimated time, the packaging was excellent and the tree arrived with minimal damage. ( a couple of broken twigs) The package was clearly marked live plants and this way up. I was a bit disappointed when I opened the package as it looked as if I had bought a dead branch with roots. However 3 weeks later its covered in green shoots and I am very happy. Maybe next year I can look forewords to some plums. I did soak the roots in my water butt for a couple of hours and planted the tree in a prepared hole then filled with a mixture of enhanced top soil, compost and well rotted farm manure.
