Nordic Ware Better Batter Bowl, White, 10 Cups

When I ordered this bowl I thought it was ceramic, but I am so glad it's made of a hard durable plastic. It's lightweight but super sturdy. It also has a grip ring on the bottom that keeps it from sliding on any surface. The size is perfect for mixing cookie and cake batter, whipping cream and pudding mix and so much more! This is a perfect bowl for anyone's kitchen and at the very reasonable price, makes a great gift.

I recently picked up this plastic mixing bowl with a handle, and it's quickly become one of my go-to tools in the kitchen. Here’s what I love about it: Lightweight & Easy to Handle: The plastic material makes it incredibly lightweight, which is perfect when you're mixing large batches of dough or batter. The handle is a great addition—it gives me more control when pouring out contents without any spills, which has made a huge difference for me when baking or making dressings. Non-Slip Base: I didn’t expect this feature, but the non-slip base has been fantastic. It keeps the bowl firmly in place while I'm mixing, which is great for when I need both hands free to whisk vigorously or incorporate heavy ingredients. I wanted a small microwavable jug for baking—melting butter, pouring batter mix, or whisking and adding egg mixtures. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and the pointed spout makes mess-free pouring super convenient. One concern is that it’s plastic and white, so it might pick up color stains over time.

I purchased this bowl because I needed a bowl that easily poured for my famous crepes and pancakes- though they ideas are enless. It is a plastic, but relatively light weight with out your special ingredients. I normally select ceramic varieties of bowls but, this was a great substitute. Definitely- not in the price range of ceramic bowls, money was a concern, and this was completely reasonable. Since the purchase it has gotta a work out. It seats in other bowls because the handle is open allowing the bowl to rest over the lip of the bowl being "stored" in. The bowl was only shown in the color white, which was ok with me. However ,I usually enjoy having my kitchen baking tools ,in that my kitchen are show pieces -since most are out where they can be scene. So this product does not meet my usual purchases for that purpose. Anyway- this product does an excellent job of pouring, smaller recipes. Cleans up well with out anything being stained. ( I can say- I haven't made anything that would do that, like spaghetti sauce. So not sure this would create a stain.Live and learn. Makes a variety of creations- you're your only one who sets those limitations. So - enjoy whatever this bowl can do ,to work for your mixing ideas..

I received my bowl in just two days which was very nice. The look and everything was nice. The complaint I have is the rubber which should be on the bottom is missing so the bowl doesn’t grip the counter. I ordered two and one has it and the other doesn’t.

I got this because I could not pick up the pampered chef one that I have. I had surgery. This is made by a company I trust as I have any other things by them. It has been perfect. It is light but sturdy and it can be washed in the dishwasher, but I handwash it. I have had this bowl for a few months and have used it at least once a day, it has done wonderful

Lightweight , just what hubby was looking for , longer pouring spout than others , would highly recommend

I bought this because my glass measuring cup with a pour spout can get heavy. This plastic option seemed like a lighter alternative. Then it arrived. I had immediate second thoughts. It is white and items I heat are seldom white. I worried about stains because no matter how much money companies spend on marketing a research that suggests otherwise, I have never had a plastic item that resisted all stains and odor. My second concern was related to heating food products in the microwave in plastic. Just my opinion, but I've been told that the chemical make up of plastic, no matter how space age, changes in the microwave and aspects of the chemical chains can enter whatever contents are being heated. Is this true? I'm not a scientist but I do trust my glass measuring cup. I returned the plastic one.
