Project 77

Wonderful well-thought out layout and design, very high quality printing and production provide a fantastic platform to showcase Martin's stunning visuals and inspirational world-building. This product is great example of when all aspects of a project are focused on the end result. The stories compliment the art, the layout and design compliment the content, and the printing and production of the book supports it all with high quality materials and printing practices. You can tell that this project was personal for more than just Martin. Each aspect of the book has certainly benefited from from the care and considerations made by all involved. Really cannot wait to see what else ArtStation Media has in store.

I've been following Martin's online posts of Project 77 artwork for several years now, what can I say, I'm a sucker for scifi universes that involve bleak landscapes and monolithic buildings, and Project 77 has a ton. All of the landscapes have a fantastic sense of scale, fantastic lighting, imagine a cross between Star Wars and Blade Runner and you'll get the general idea. The book itself is professionally printed, my only complaint would be it's too short at just over 100 pages. But I suppose "keep the audience wanting more". Fantastic book and project, hope to see more of this universe in the future, so glad to see this in print!

I had to pay a lot more for this than it originally sold for, but I still managed to pay a LOT less than what I've seen it selling for lately, sometimes over $250. It is a well done project. The book also includes a step by step 'how to' at the back of the book which I was not expecting, so it is like getting two books. What makes this book valuable is that it has no 'fluff'. It is all 'meat'. Some of these types of book projects end up being loaded with pages full of bland work with a spare amount of 'great' work. This book, by comparison, is zero 'bland' work and ALL 'great' work. So if you are an artist of this sort, it is of great value. Sadly, anyone hoping to buy one now will likely have to pay considerable money for it.....something which I simply would not do myself.

Uniquely charming bookshelf or coffee table treasure. This book will delight both the ‘old school’ fans of sci-fi art and the post-digital fans. This is the best contemporary example in my extensive collection that keeps both these fan groups satisfied. Just buy it.

I loved this book, like it was made for me. Incredible art and very well written short stories. I would recommend to anyone who appreciates art, sci-fi, video games or special effects.

Wow, this is a great book! Martin tells short stories so his audience is in the right frame of mind to appreciate his artwork. He also gives lessons for beginner artists.

Great quality art book. Some of the narrative could have been written a little better but the concept art helps convey the idea just fine. Well done Martin!

This book showcases a great collection of strange worlds, environment concepts and pencil sketches that depict a dope story from the incredible mind of Martin. Really nice to see his passion through the works he's put into this book! A must-have if you enjoy sci-fi environments and this book will definitely the fuel to inspire you!

I love sci-fi and fantasy art, I've a rather expansive collection of sci-fi/fantasy art books and this is the latest addition. The image quality is top notch, the images themselves are cinematic in nature (with a story behind them) and at the end a series of short tutorials. An addition I'm not disappointed with.

This book has great art; I love the worn Science fiction look, the stories for each art piece is a great addition to an already beautiful book. I have been following the author's drawing for a couple of years now. It is a great inspiration for my Star Wars RPG game and visually interesting.
