This is a 36" light for a 48" 55gal aquarium. It has adjustments for the right brightness to adequately cover the total area. The LED based lighting replicates natural white light (not blue or yellow tint) which really makes the tank look nice with a pleasant ambience. I use the light timer to its max of 12 hours starting at 9:30AM. I would recommend this as pretty good product at this price point.

This is a great bargain for beginners aquarium light, especially if you have live plants since it’s full spectrum. I’ve been using it about a month and have noticed more plant growth since the change from a cheap white-only LED light The timer/switch is very simple and straightforward, easy to use. And the light in its entirety is very simple to set up. The one complaint I may have is that it is not sturdy, it just sits on top of the aquarium with no way to attach it to anything. But this is normal with less expensive lights, and made clear from the photos and description. So you know what you’re getting, so no big deal Overall a great light and I would recommend

This is a thin strip light bar. Not sure if LED'S are good for fish though? It's super bright. It maybe helping algae growth? So far the plants seem to be doing pretty good. It surely doesn't cover the top off the tank. So if that's what you want or need you'll spend a lot more $. This fits its purpose of cheap bright lights. The fish don't seem to care. I have this on an automated Amazon timer plug. For an inexpensive fix when your hood lights go out it's not a bad purchase.

So far so good. Light arrived less tha 48 hours upon ordering. Easy to assemble. (Surprisingly bright) I ordered it for one of my 29 gallon tanks. It lit the entire tank, had to use on dim mode. Red and blue modes are good for me as well. If it holds up, I'll be buying another to replace the light on my other 29 also.

Bought for a 36g low tech planted aquarium. I've been really happy with it and plants seem to do well with it in addition to adding liquid fertilizer here and there. You can adjust the brightness and set a timer for it as well

If you are questioning whether to buy this or not, please buy it. I just purchased another brand in june and it was about 3x times more expensive and its not even as bright as this one. I have spent so much money on lights over the years and for my bigger tanks, but I am glad I made this purchase, it is so bright and fits on my 65 long perfectly. :)

I love that it is quite adjustable for width. It is also great for my aquarium plants. Full spectrum and easy to move aside for tank cleaning. I love the adjustable light settings as well. Better priced than most others too.
