The latest firmware version is 230906/20230906. If your product has this version, no upgrade is needed. You can check the firmware under the startup logo or in the 'About Me' menu by long pressing the D-key and releasing when 'About Me' appears

My computer cannot recognize the hard drive. What should I do?

Ensure the PCIe/NVMe M.2 SSD is installed correctly and connected with the included cable to your computer’s motherboard USB-C port, not a hub or front panel. Improper connections may cause issues. New SSDs may need initialization and partitioning.

Why does the enclosure show PCIe 3.0 x2, and the speed test maxes out at 1000MB/s?

The enclosure supports PCIe 3.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4 SSDs, but your SSD’s controller works at PCIe 3.0 x2. The screen shows the current mode. The USB-C port supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps), so 1000MB/s in CrystalDiskMark is expected.

Why are SSDs using QLC NAND slower in performance (e.g., Crucial P310, Crucial P3 Plus, Micron 2400)?

QLC NAND SSDs have lower cost and performance. After large file transfers or cache use, speeds may drop to 100MB/s, which is normal in an enclosure. Some may briefly pause to manage cache. It's recommended to use QLC SSDs directly in a computer.
