Tried and True.
I have an older "trouble light" in my garage that is on a 20 ft reel. It has always worked well but when I replaced a burnt bulb with a new "LED" bulb, it worked for a couple months, then, when I turned it on, it "flickered" and tripped my circuit breaker. I bought another "rough service" LED bulb, but it also flickered. I didn't want to "burn" my house down and decided to try an incandescent bulb. This bulb worked just as it should. I am glad it came in a 2 pack. These should take care of my light for a good long time. Color me disappointed with LED bulbs.

Fantastic
These are great light bulbs. I have bought 8 packages of them, and every single bulb worked when tested, so I would definitely say you can trust them. I don't understand the bad reviews, and none of the things they said have been true for me at all. I leave these lights on all day, every day, and have had no issues with them burning out. The bulbs are packed well and come bubble wrapped for protection. They have a nice, warm, relaxing, yellowish glow, and are easy on the eyes. I would recommend them.

Works great!
Others say that their rough service bulbs don't last long, but mine has lasted about 15 months now and is still going strong. I use every evening in the living room for 6-7 hours. Halogen bulbs never worked in this fixture, so I have to keep using incandescent bulbs. These were a life saver.

Last about 1/4 as Long as Regular Incandescent Bulbs
I bought 20 two-bulb packs because it's getting hard to find 100 W incandescent bulbs. While the light output is OK, about the same as the 72 W - 100 W equivalent halogen bulbs, which are also hard to find, and although the light is more yellow then the halogen bulbs, the main problem is they are rated for 2000 hours, which is 83 days. I use them in a lamp with a spacious shade open on top and bottom, in the living room, which is on 24 hours a day, and they have lasted about an average of one month before they burn out. One of them lasted about 93 days, but the last two lasted only 18 days and 15 days respectively.

Incandescent bulbs hard to find locally
I got this for my reading lamp because the LED lights are a migraine trigger for me (& a seizure trigger for many!) We should have a choice! I'm very pleased. It's bright! So when I reorder, I'll probably get the 75 watt. Reasonable price.

Appear fragile for a rough service bulb.
For rough service bulbs I thought they would have a protective? coating on the glass bulb. One bulb arrived broken and to get a refund or replacement just isn't worth the trouble. I wanted them for an old shop droplight. I use it more for a heater to keep a covered outdoor faucet from freezing,For me, at their price I won't be ordering more.

Bright 100 Watts... nice..
last of the incandescent bulbs... grand get for older lamps....... packed well and bought on sale..... several outlets on Amazon for this 100 watt.... Amazon usually finds less expensive seller to keep you informed... Bright solid fit for older lamps....

We will see.
They did come very well packaged. I don’t know about being rough service though. Phillips didn’t put their name on the bulbs itself which makes me seem the quality is low. No issues to date but a blank bulb didn’t give me confidence. When comparing these to GE rough service they look really cheap. Will update after time passes. I bought these bulbs for my pump house for the warmth in the winter.

Buena opcion
Era lo que necesitaba, y debido a la dificultad para conseguir focos incandescentes es buena opción; el precio un poco alto.

I prefer incandescent over LED
Apparently Incandescent is going to be very hard if not impossible to get your hands on soon. I just like the lighting better with these.

Burned out in under 40 hours
These bulbs burnt out in under 2 weeks running at 4 hours a day Monday to Friday. So their lifespan was 40 hours each. When the first burnt out I thought it was just one of those things but now the second has as well. Poor quality product. They were used in a food warmer.
