I was happy with this set which I bought because it was inexpensive. It has 3 different wick lengths, and enough wicks to fulfill your every candle need. I had a set of famous maker candles (bought from a church shop) so the previous owners had goofed in terms of blowing out the candle when the wax wasn't level. When I tried to fix the problem, the wick it had got too small. So I put one of these in and was able to burn the candle down completed. I didn't use the tabs to affix the wick to the bottom, because I'm not pouring my own wax, but I do appreciate it. They were very easy to use, and looked fine. They burned well, too. Don't know about the durability compared to the wick that came with the candle, but I will certainly be using these whenever my "second-hand" candles have to be rehabilitated. I love trying new makers and smells, so I run into this problem often. Now I've got a solution! Glad to have this set and give it an A+. A plain white color so they don't look odd or awkward when used. Very happy I ordered. Had no other solution to a too short wick until I bought this set.

Servers it’s purpose

I had several candles that didn't burn all the way to the bottom and I didn't want to just throw away and waste my money, so I found this kit. There are several wicks and several sizes of wicks already attached to little feet, wick stablizers, and adhesive to hold the wick to the bottom of a jar. I've had some fun melting down candles and getting to use the colors and fragrances again! It's so easy. I've had several layers in one reused jars, so I can color coordinate if I want. I feel so accomplished at saving money, at the same time getting to take in the aroma of favorite fragrances.

These are better than anticipated.

I was really hoping these would work out because the price of the kit is great. But the wicks down burn down really, they start curling long black strings. And those strings burn lots of black smoke. This caused all my containers to turn black with soot. I found a work around, every time I'd relight it, I removed the last portion of wick that was brittle and black (and it wasn't a little bit, always a long bit). That seemed to help with the soot. But I shouldn't have to do this. A wick should burn down, not leave a trail of black hardened soot behind. I won't be buying again once these are done.
