Once you throw on a softbox and grid, the light was beautifully diffused while maintaining the brightness I needed. And it was only at 50% brightness in the photo! It's also incredibly quiet and easy to use. The build quality is solid at this price point and it really is a great first key light to have. The only drawback I'd call out is that it takes up a lot of space, especially with the softbox, so it's not going to be as versatile in smaller rooms. Color seems to be very accurate, I'm really liking it at the 5000-5300K range, but I'm glad I have the flexibility to go warmer or cooler as needed. After nearly a year of owning it, I'd recommend!
