Works perfectly
Solved my network problem in the house, would recommend if you need to run high speeds away from the router

Solid and affordable! Perfect for the job.
This switch does exactly what it says it will perfectly. We recently upgraded our home broadband to be faster than 1Gbps to 1.6Gbps. With that, our current home networking equipment only supported 1Gbps, so we needed a faster switch to be able to enable those faster speeds to a few specific devices we wanted to be able to access the full 1.6Gbps. This switch has been the perfect device to enable us to do that, with the dual 10Gbps SFP ports, I've been able to connect a 10Gbps uplink from this Binardat switch, to the Unifi UDM SE main router we have, with our internet coming into that over an existing 2.5Gbps WAN port. Then with this connected via that 10Gbps link, I've been able to connect up the 3 devices we have that support 2.5Gbps connections. (2x Windows PC's and 1x Caldigit TS4 Dock) Since connecting it up, I've tested the throughput speed between two devices connected to the switch using iPerf and registers a consistent 2.3Gbps which I think is pretty reasonable, especially at the price point comparing to other 2.5Gbps ethernet switches on the market. This has been perfect for what we wanted to achieve, a still primarily 1Gbps home network, but with a few 2.5Gbps compatible ports for those few devices we have that support it. I would strongly recommend this switch if you're in a similar situation just wanting to enable 2.5Gbps for a few devices!

Incredible value
These are fantastic. I have 3 and about to order number 4. I don’t know what people are talking about regarding the fan. I have never heard a single noise from any of mine. Honestly for the price, the quality of these devices is remarkable and its future proofing with the 10gbps SFP ports. If you are looking at buying one of these, don’t hesitate. I can’t imagine this ever being a bad buy for anyone.

ottimo switch

Great little unit. Works great, and can confirm, 10G works on the sfp ports too.

Absolutely love it
I love this 4x2.5G with 2x10G SFP+ switch. I have 10gbit NIC's in my computers, and since 10gbit port switches are super expensive, I had to do some difficult workarounds, extra NICs, configurations and cabling so I can communicate at 10gbit on the LAN, while adding an extra 2.5gbit switch and 2.5gbit RJ-45 cards communicating at 1.5gbit to the fiber internet provider. It was messy and costly. This switch solves all my problems by simplifying my network setup greatly, I don't need the RJ-45 NICs anymore, so less cabling is needed. The computers can now connect at 1.5G to the internet, while maintaining full 10G speeds on the LAN. My other devices and less critical computers are working fine with the 2.5G ports. Also note that the Amazon title description says SFP, but the unit is actually SFP+, there is a huge difference. SFP is 1gbit while SFP+ can go up to 16gbit. Pros: - Affordable adequate price - Full speeds with the 10gbit SFP+ ports - Fanless and runs extremely cool with all the ports plugged, not a hint of warming, compared to my previous fanless 2.5G switch which got pretty warm, I had to put a fan under it to keep the temperature down - Plug and play, The RJ-45 and SFP+ ports worked without any problems Cons: - Price could be lower, however this unit has a 60G switching capacity, compared to other cheaper models with the same port layout, but have 25G-45G capacity. More is better, so price is fine. EDIT: After further testing, the unit gets a bit warm at the bottom, on the SFP side, that's because SFP modules usually get hot, depending on their wattage consumption. I realized that when unplugging the modules, they were pretty hot. And I noticed the unit has holes only on the SFP (right) side, whereas other brands have holes on the right and left side. I don't think this provides enough airflow for the fanless passive cooling.
