Please bring back the argan conditioner! This is good too though.
I have been using the argan conditioner from Maple for years now because it has absolutely no fragrance or scent to it, treats my hair gently, and works well to cleanse without stripping my hair of its natural oils for use between bi-weekly shampoos. Unfortunately it looks like that has been discontinued. I use a tea tree based shampoo so I decided to try this in lieu of my go-to. So far, I've used it twice and actually like this just as well if not slightly better. My hair and scalp are a mess. I bleach and color treat with an unnatural color and also get seborrheic dermititis which causes dandruff if not treated properly. Needless to say my search is usually super difficult for a conditioner that makes my treated hair feel nice without aggravating my scalp. The conditioner is a nice texture that gets to each follicle easily without clumping in gooey chunks. I leave it in for a few minutes before rinsing for best effects. My damaged hair is left feeling moisturized and full again while leaving it feeling clean. I'm happy to report that the tea tree in this is natural and not just a fake fragrance. As such you get the natural and gentle antifungal properties and a light aroma that dissipates nicely over a couple of hours (I can't stand lingering fragrance that never goes away). It feels great for my scalp and has not aggravated my dandruff in the week I've been using this. I still prefer the totally smell-free Argan conditioner, but this is a fine substitute that I'll be happy to use.

Perfect for dry scalp, only wish it lasted longer!
If you're looking at this product then I'll assume you've probably gone through several different brands and types of dandruff-treating shampoo/conditioner only to get mild to no improvement. I've had problems with dandruff since I was a teen and have never been able to get it under control with the typical Head and Shoulders/T Gel routine. This is particularly disheartening for me as my hair is waist-length and I'm pretty proud of it, but seeing dandruff in it is always embarrassing. I've used jojoba oils, Shea Moisture products, a thousand hair masks, etc. etc., and though some of these worked some times, none ever got the job done completely. I got my first bottle of this conditioner at the beginning of 2020 after giving up on another brand and have to say that it works far better than anything else I've used. When you apply it, it feels very different from other conditioners; it actually feels like it's doing something. It has a distinct smell and cooling sensation that was a bit off-putting the first few times I used it, but now I really enjoy it. The only way I know how to describe it is that it makes your head feel minty. The scalp itching that is usually constant for me goes away by the time I'm out of the shower and within a few days my skin issues are totally fixed. I use it once a week, massage it into my scalp, leave it for two minutes, then rinse it. I've been using it for several months now and will probably continue to buy this for as long as they make it. It's taken four years of searching but I think I've finally found my conditioner. Pros: * Super, super, super effective, I can't stress this enough. Everyone's scalp is a bit different, but this is the only dandruff conditioner I've ever used that worked. * It's also a great conditioner! Personally, I don't use this on all of my hair (I have waist-length hair so that would use up this product in a week if I did that) but running my fingers through my roots always feels great after using this. * The effects last for several days! I pair this with a cheaper, sulfate-free alternative that I use on my ends so as not to use this stuff up too quickly. I've noticed that for me, I can apply this stuff to my scalp once a week for two minutes and not have any issues. So it doesn't have to be an everyday thing. Cons: * Like most nice conditioners, it's not cheap and you'll go through it quickly. I'm sure if I used it on all of my hair that my hair would be maddeningly soft, but it's just too expensive for me to do that. * Again, like most nice conditioners, it doesn't spread all that well, so you end up using more of it than you would a cheaper conditioner. Not really a problem if you use it sparingly as I do, but if you're conditioning all of your hair with every shower, you will be revisiting this Amazon page a lot. And that's pretty much it! I definitely recommend giving this a try. I will also throw in that I originally paired this with its matching shampoo, and while the shampoo sort of works, it's nothing compared to how good this conditioner is, so I recommend switching to a more affordable shampoo as you'll only need the conditioner. Best!

Great Conditioner - Leaves Hair Soft and Fresh
I really like this conditioner. It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and easy to manage without feeling heavy. The tea tree scent is refreshing and it helps keep the scalp feeling clean and balanced. It works perfectly together with the hampoo. Overall, it's a great product for maintaining healthy hair.

Nice, but smell may not be for you.
The smell is very earthy. I think the conditioner works pretty well, but it has a strong tea-tree oil smell (as to he expected). However, I can still smell it long after my hair dries. I don't hate the smell of tea tree, but it doesn't mix well with my perfumes, and isn't exactly the kind of smell I want to be known for. Haha. It does make my hair feel soft and helps with frizz. The price is good considering the ingredients. I wouldn't dissuade you from purchasing it if you like the smell of tea-tree oil, just be aware it will linger and some tea tree products I have used on my hair lean toward a minty smell, but this is very earthy.

Helmet Head? Not Anymore!
Helmet Hair? Not Anymore! My son plays football, and helmet hair is an understatement. On top of that, he was starting to notice flaking, which isn’t exactly the best way to impress the ladies. After switching to this Tea Tree Conditioner, the difference was night and day. His hair is now healthy, shiny, and completely flake-free. The tea tree oil leaves his scalp feeling clean and refreshed after sweaty practices, and the sulfate-free formula keeps his hair soft without weighing it down. The fresh, herbal scent is a bonus, it smells clean without being overpowering. This has officially become a staple in our house, and my son is actually happy to use it (which says a lot for a teenage boy). If you’ve got an athlete in the family or anyone dealing with dry scalp and dull hair, this product delivers winning results every time.

Love this!
I have this on auto ship/auto order. Whatever it is! I want better ingredients for my family. I have really long hair and this works amazing! Just enough conditioning. It is never goopy! Makes brushing my hair a breeze! Pair it with a good shower filter and you will thank me! I also order their shampoos!

Not safe for purple hair - turns it pink.
I give this product one star for being "color safe" which it isn't (more in a minute) and 4 stars for helping with scalp itch. I have purple highlight in my hair and this product turns them pink. Not color safe for purple. I had some blue added to the purple to counteract the pink and that seemed to work but I don't like blue in my hair so that isn't going to happen again. I purchased Overtone conditioner in extreme purple and it still turns it pink but a light pink/lavender color that I actually like. So there is an option for me I guess. But in short, if you have a fantasy/fashion color in your hair, this may not be color safe do you. Used everyday, this product did help with my scalp itch. And I have it pretty bad. I love the cooling sensation. I do add a few drops of pure tea tree oil to it to amp it up but I just started doing that. And it turned my hair pink prior to that as well so it isn't the tea tree oil doing it. Overall, I think this is a good product I will probably purchase it again. I just have to get the color right so I get a pleasant result and not have an itchy scalp. I may to the sage conditioner next and see how that goes!

Helps dry itchy scalps!!
I have had this pesky, gross dry spot on the lower back of my head. It would sometimes be really itchy and I could pick it off in big flat chunks. Gross. I tried every dandruff shampoo with no luck. My daughter used tea tree oil to help a piercing heal and needed more. I looked it up online and found these tea tree shampoo and conditioner. I read they supposedly help dry flaky scalps and can soothe itchiness. I bought and immediately began to use. You don’t need a ton to lather your hair and I always start by putting it directly on my dry patch. It WORKED! The dry patch is gone and no more itch! The smell is a bit strong, but I like it. Has that clean smell of tea tree. Being kind of a penny pincher, I decided to try a different brand. It didn’t work at all. My scalp as a whole became itchy. Switched back as soon as I could. The price is worth the fact it’s the only thing that worked for me. Also, comes in 8 and 16oz sizes. I recommend starting with the 8oz to see if you like it.

Didn’t help with BF’s dry scalp issue
My boyfriend has a dry scalp and after looking up shampoo/conditioner options, I was looking forward to this as it got a lot of good reviews. He tried it for a month now, but it didn’t help much with his dry scalp. I guess it didn’t work with his skin.

Disappointed considering all the positive reviews
No idea what the fuss is all about. i bought this product on the basis of all the positive reviews but I can say that as a conditioner it was not even basic. A lot of product was needed so the bottle barely lasted me for half a dozen washes and even then my hair did not feel all that. Disappointed.
