Uk. I have a 2020 BMW X1 18i (petrol engine) with the Semi Auto gearbox DCT. The car is now on 26,000 miles. I put this Wynnes Gold Formula petrol injector cleaner in at 25,000 miles. As you may know the BMW 18i engine (B38?) is actually a 1.5 3cyl engine that uses I believe a twin scroll turbo. I only ever use the on car short to medium Journeys and so only ever put just over half a tank of fuel to save weight and gain a bit of MPG. Usually I mostly put E5 shell or similar sometimes Sainsburys E5 and occasionally mix E5 with E10. So I put half of this Wynnes Gold Formula into the tank over two weeks. I did notice a marked improvement over a couple of days. The engine is quite small and so I thought it would make sense to keep the petrol system, valves, combustion chambers and injectors free from carbon build up as much as possible. The engine is not driven hard I don’t think but as an aside I was recommended i change the oil by an independent BMW GARAGE every 5-6 k miles not the 12k BMW recommend as this helps the turbo. Anyway, I know it’s expensive but I can recommend this Wynnes Gold Formula it must dissolve carbon build up in the engine. I did notice a difference as I say after a couple of days the engine was more responsive.
