These are fantastic! My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We've been together 20 years! We're 37 this year... The night we decided to try these out, we stayed up until 2 am talking and laughing, etc... Fully engaged in genuine, fun conversation. After 20 years, it's hard to find new stories and things to talk about sometimes. You think you already know everything there is to know by that point, but no! These questions were so intriguing and opened us up to finding new information about each other. I loved these and I recommended them to Several people I know. Would also make a great wedding gift, bridal shower gift, anniversary, or just plain date night. Add them to a basket with popcorn, a movie and a bottle of wine and you have a great date night gift basket! Worth the $!

This is a cool stack of cards I came across and decided to buy for my 3rd anniversary with my wife. Works well for strong relationships but I imagine it would probably help stimulate conversation in relationships that are starting to feel like everything's been said already. I recommend doing one or two cards per day and don't overthink the questions too much, but put some thought into the response and allow your partner to respond with their answer too...it is fun to compare responses and discuss the differences. You learn more about what and how they think and it helps you to build your communication skills with each other regarding differences you have (good or bad) which is a healthy skill to have in a relationship, especially when differences are presented in real life scenarios and not just on a card you draw in a game. Great gift for newly-weds as well as those married for 30 years. The style looks a bit corporate and stiff, but the content is good enough that it's worth a buy. Go for it!

This is the ideal game to play for couples who just want to deepen their understanding of one. The "sexual" type games are great ... if you are trying to do something that is "out of the ordinary", but when you have great private moments with your significant other, then you don't need something cheesy. ENTER - this game. We were looking for something to take our conversations to a new level and play consistently every day just so that we can add some variety and get to know one another more intimately on an emotionally connecting way. This game fits the bill. You will enjoy this game if you are like us.

Good effort but questions weren't all that conversational or interesting. My husband and I chose these for a 2000+ mile road trip...even after over 24 hours in the car these questions were not as interesting as just staring out the window and doing nothing 😕. These were like first date questions. After 9 years of marriage most of these questions were already common knowledge between the two of us

These questions are so fun! My partner and I have been asking each other questions since we met - this is something we do over dinner. After 1.5 years, we've been running out of questions and ordered this box of 200 uncommon questions. These are so creative and so different from other cards and questions in books we've seen. Often, our answers lead to long discussions and intimate confessions and draw us much closer to each other. We absolutely love it, and hope an expansion pack will come soon!

I bought these cards for a friend's bridal shower this past summer, thinking it would be something fun and new for her to do with her fiance. They were well received. After reading reviews & doing research, I decided to also buy them for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. We have a great relationship, but we also work together and find ourselves having similar conversations a lot (especially about work) instead of new things. Since we got them, we've been bringing a small stack of cards with us whenever we go out to eat. It helps time pass while waiting for our meals and gives us exciting new things to talk about at dinner instead of the same old. It also puts a definitive end to how long you play instead of someone awkwardly saying they've had enough. Some of the questions provoke other follow up questions and conversations that last a while (sometimes 20+ min per card). We've also added to answers hours or days later as we thought of things we missed, so it spruces those conversations up as well. These cards will last a long time before getting through all 200. Many of the cards are very lighthearted and not as deep as some of the examples on the box make it seem (which I was a little worried about at first). It's a nice mix. Some take 30 seconds to answer, some lead to a 30 min conversation. Overall, a great gift for someone else, or for you and your significant other if you want to provoke some new conversation topics. Packaging was very good as well.
