Good Stuff, great for a Container garden
This is my third order. Very helpful in my garden, decent price too. Easy to work with, just make sure the water is nicely warm. The warm water helps break it up easily and it really expands well. Makes 25 gallons of soil when mixed with compost and perlite. I used to use peat moss, but that makes the soil a bit acidic. This creates a more neutral ph balance. Keeps the soil moist.

Easy to carry brick that increased its volume to 16-18 gal and 10lbs!
This was amazingly easy to carry and additionally mix up with the water. It took 2 gal more water than directions stipulated but the end result was a light fluffy dark product that mixed beautifully with manure, Perilizer & moisture crystals. Haven't used it with plants yet but I'm certain it will be 100%better than my AZ soil and incredibly cheaper than buying premium soil by the bag. This is the best value for the money that I could find. It didn't even have much of a neg order to it

Better than bark dust.
Good quality. I used in place of bark dust. Beautiful color. Plants love it. Holds moisture. Easy to use. Stays put. I place it in a child hard plastic pool, fill ihalf way with water and in about an hour it is ready to spread.

Great for indoor micro-greens
Works great for my indoor micro-greens growing project. I put the brick in a big plastic tub and fill with water, the brick expands nicely and I get lots of use out of the coco coir. I have been growing sprouts: Kale, Broccoli, Mustard, Sunflower, Wheat grass and many other seeds without an issue. This is good value for the money, and the brick being lightweight is a big bonus compared to regular soil. No smell, no mess, no insects.

Good product, takes quite a bit more time to decompress than the video shows
So far a good product. It definitely does not decompress anywhere near like shown in the video It takes a good 30 plus minutes with physical busting apart of the brick. It seems to hold water quite a bit so that is a good thing. I will have better knowledge after the growing season as to just how good it works. Thank you.

Great for starting plants
I love this product and use it to grow seedlings and plants indoor until transplanting. I have had great success using this product. It is easy to work with. It sustains my young plants and holds just enough moisture for optimum plant health.

works great
I use coco coir for many different things, as a garden soil additive, in my tortoise enclosure, in my worm bin, you can get it in a bag (loose) or a brick like this & it performs the same, the country of origin can be a factor in consistency, some is salty or dirty some less so, I found a good way to saturate this dry brick coco, I use a 50 gallon plastic barrel that I spent some time drilling holes into, a big colander now, bust up the coir & place it in the drum & then run clean water through it for salt & contaminate removal, if you have a PPM meter you could test runoff to check your rinse, not necessary. I have been using this brand for a year or so & it's great. Shipped undamaged & on time. Thanks Amazon!
