Doesn't deplete in my tank as fast as some other buffers I've used. I use for my Tanganyikan Cichlids. I add a full dose when setting up new tanks and adjust as needed. For reference, my tap is 3-5dGH. A full dose for my 10 gallon raises this to 12-13dGH. I do 50% water changes every week.
