Love this watch. Easy to switch bands and the bands stay attached unlike my Fitbit. Watchface is easy to read and not too big. You have to make sure the charger is on snug or it won't charge. This has only happened once to me. I guess I bumped the charger and it moved enough that the watch didn't charge. It doesn't keep step count well. It is always at least 200 steps off. That it frustrating. For this reason only I have been thinking about going back to Fitbit.

Very disappointed. Had my Google Pixel watch for 3 months and it quit working. No where can I find information on how to fix it or who to call. I can't return it to Amazon because it has been more than 30 days. It was a great watch while it was working.

I love this watch. It would have five stars if The battery lasted longer than a day and if I could find chargers for it At Brick and mortar stores but no matter where I searched I can only seem to find it online. I'm sure I'm not using it to its full potential because there are many features that it offers that I don't use, but I loved having the ability to have my kids faces as my background and being able to sync it with my phone, but that does drain the battery much faster so I choose not to use that feature..

The battery life lasts a long time for me, I am disabled and have health issues. So all the health features gives me a peace of mind. I've even told my therapist about it. Worth every penny and you get your money's worth with everything this watch has to offer you. It's so pretty too and perfect size for me.

I had high hopes for the Pixel Watch 2, but my experience has been nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I unboxed it, I've been plagued with connectivity issues. Despite multiple attempts and six factory resets, I haven't been able to successfully connect the watch to my phone. Each time I try to set it up, I'm met with a message demanding a previous PIN, which I don't have. While I can link my Google account, the watch refuses to connect to the Pixel Watch app, rendering the device completely useless. This persistent issue points to a serious flaw in either the watch's software or its setup process. It's incredibly frustrating to be locked out of a brand new device, especially after numerous attempts to troubleshoot the problem. Sadly, my Pixel Watch 2 is going back to the retailer. I'll be purchasing from a different vendor in the hopes of receiving a functional device. Until Google addresses this connectivity problem, I cannot recommend the Pixel Watch 2 to anyone. Pros: * (Unfortunately, I couldn't experience any due to the connectivity issues) Cons: * Major connectivity problems: Unable to connect to phone despite multiple resets. * "Previous PIN" error: Repeatedly prompted for a non-existent PIN. * Unusable without app connection: Core functionality locked without app pairing. * Poor customer support: (If applicable, add any negative experiences with Google Support) Recommendation: Avoid purchasing until connectivity issues are resolved.

This is both my first Pixel Watch (former Apple Watch 8) and first serious review as I have quite a bit of experience with smartwatches. The Pixel Watch brings so much to the table that you didn't thinknyou needed, but falls short in small areas. Here's what I think 2 weeks in: Pros: - The Display: It's vibrant, bright, clear and (unfortunately tested against doorknobs and washing machines) quite durable. - Durability: As with the display, it seems very well constructed. - Home integration: it's seamlessly integrated into the quick access menu and there a widget for a larger view. It works very well for controlling simple devices (best with lights, smart switches), more complex devices (volume control on a specific device, use of the remote on the watch, etc) is best left to your phone. - Fitbit feature integration: truly the proper implementation of fitness on a watch. The customization of the menus, the wide widget choice, and face options create a personal experience. Meh: - Battery life: It's very much average for battery. I find it's slightly better than the Apple Watch 8. Remember that it's a smartwatch so 24 hour battery life is the limit (Apple Watch as a competitor hits the same mark for $200 more). - Fitbit Premium: Thankfully it comes with a year free, but paying extra for possibly irrelevant data may not be worth it for you. - Strap Connector: It serves it function, but if it's not on your wrist it clicks as though it's not secured fully. It always is so that not a worry though the noise when using other straps can give it a cheap feel. - Software: A 90% complete product is phenomenal but some of that 10% is basic. Assistant at times will not connect, your watch can unlock your phone but not the other way around (it's been locked for hours on my arm without noticing - it doesn't buzz or notify). Can use some polishing. - Cons: - Charging: it's fast which is ideal, but it needs to be set exclusively in ONE way (as shown in the photo). I've missed a few charges by not lining it up properly. - Strap Selection: if you're like me, you're immediately thinking of the band you want before your watch arrives. The selection is unfortunately very low in quantity and quality. There are some good ones out there, but they can be expensive (if in Canada, import fees are added as most come from the US). - Original band sizing: It seems as though, for those with smaller wrists, each rung is either too loose or way too tight. It's personal of course, but forms a lower quality first impression. - Watch Faces: using 3rd party apps uses quite a bit of battery and resources, slowing things down. The selection from their options are 90% analog (due to the round shape), which can be cluttered or boring. - Quick Menu: the one area you can't customize is the one you would most want to. For now, there are quite a few functions (water lock, theatre mode, lock mode, auto brightness on/off) are specific from person to person, but cannot be changed. Boo Google, boo. I would buy it again, but Google is known for having hardware issues down the road so we'll see how it holds up. Nothing is perfect, so still 5 stars!

Recently my Fitbit sense smart watch/fitness tracker died, so I was in the market to replace it. Google purchased Fitbit and they seem to have created their own pixel line of smart watches with all the wicked health tracking sensors and tech Fitbit has built over the years. As far as Fitbit themselves they seem to not have come out with any new models. I was somewhat stuck in a situation where I could have replaced my device with the exact same one from Fitbit, or for a little bit more money I could get a device that is miles better, so I clearly made the right decision. The pixel watch 2 includes all the health tracking features you could need, as well as all the smart watch features you could ask for. I don't own a pixel phone, I have a Samsung s23 ultra, and it pairs and works perfectly fine. You can't natively use the pixel camera app with a Samsung phone, but since this is an android device running wear OS, you can just install a camera app that does work with your Samsung (or other smartphone) As far as battery life, that is one thing that I disliked initially. With my previous Fitbit watch I could get nearly a week of battery life, going to this initially felt like a downgrade. However I just changed my routine a bit, and I'm more than happy with the battery life. I can easily get a day and a half potentially 2 days out of this with the always on display active. I will put my watch on the charger in the morning when I get in the shower, give it a quick 20 minute charge, and I do put it into sleep mode when I wear it in bed. Sleep mode is nice as it saves your battery as well as turns the screen off so it doesn't light your bedroom up when you move your wrist. Currently with the price point of the pixel watch 2 versus the watch 3, I would recommend this device. Hardware wise, they share everything except the battery capacity, and screen being upgraded on the watch 3. They are fairly minor upgrades if you ask me, and with the current price difference this is still the device I would choose. Extremely happy with my purchase and I would suggest you give it a try, you won't be disappointed

There's very little difference between this and the newer Pixel Watch 4. I chose to save the money and have no regrets.

Never owned a smart watch until now. Got it on sale for 200 CAD. Gotta say, this is a pretty neat piece of tech. So many great features, and the battery is pretty impressive given the size (turn off "tilt to wake" and you should get over 30 hours with moderate use). Charges crazy fast too! (up like 1% every 20 seconds or so). Highly recommend, especially at this price point.
