Easily mixes with other lotion or cream. Applying itself only on skin is fine. Absorbed on my skin well. Makes my skin very moist and smooth. Feels great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Duo-phase watery serum, more like toner *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2024* This has such a unique texture. It has an oil layer that sits on top of a water based layer that makes for an eye catching formula. You do have to shake it before each use to make sure you're benefiting from both layers. I found that it separates easily and needs to be shaken frequently. I shake it up for about 20-30 seconds, dispense two pumps in my palm and quickly rub my palms together to mix the formula and then press it onto my skin. I suggest putting it in your palm as it will drip down your fingers otherwise making for a messy experience. It has a very soft citrus scent that I found to be pleasant and not bothersome. It doesn't feel oily at all and since it's so light and watery, I use it as a toner instead of a serum. It does say you can use this either toner and/or serum but to me this is a toner lol. I kinda wish they would turn this formula into a mist, as I could see it being more beneficial that way—as a hydration booster during the day, and was planning on transferring this into a spare spray bottle I have.Unfortunately, not long after having this it looked like either the formula clumped or there was mold forming inside and because of that, I stopped using it. I don't feel comfortable continuing to use it, I did try to shake it to see if it would blend back into itself but it didn't. I didn't use it more than once because it smelled too much like essential oils, which irritate my skin.
