I’m finding that these are very stiff when I take them out of the freezer. Is there anything I can do to improve flexibility?

Hey Chris, I'm sorry your finding the packs to be a bit stiff. One way to counter this is prior to use, move them to the refrigerator. This way they can stay chilled, but thaw out a bit. Also, check your settings on your freezer, you may want to raise the temperature a bit. One other trick is to take it out of the freezer and immediately wrap the pack in a thin towel. Let it sit for a few minutes. The towel will work to insulate the pack and hold in the cold longer, but allow it to thaw. How much does each one weigh exactly?

Barbara I weighed one on my postal scale . It read 37.8 ounces so each gel pad is 2.04 pounds . Hope this helps.

I usually buy when there are free returns. But I honestly can’t recall. Not returning it anyway.

Will it fit around the leg from below the knee to the top of the foot?

GuyinChi, The FlexiKold Standard is 14.5" inches on its longest side and 10.5" on its shortest side. Measure around your leg for the circumference. If it is under 10.5", it will fit around the whole leg. For the length, simply measure from the top of the foot to just below the knee. If it is less than 14.5", the pack will cover the desired area.
