My son picked this “Small Flames: Zuri the Golden Dragon” as his toy/book combo, and he’s over the moon—vibrant illustrations and adventure story keep him hooked for hours. Engaging read for young fantasy fans! 🐉📖

My 9yr old enjoyed this book! He loved that they had pictures scattered throughout the book. The chapters and book length were very appropriate to keep him engaged. The stories are easy to follow along and not confusing for young readers. He was able to extract the plot and details very well with our getting confused. The other positive was each book in this series can be read in any order or skipped completely if not interested in that specific story line. They are not co-dependent on each other and can stand alone. He really enjoyed several of the Small Flames books. We found these after completing the Dragon Master series and it was a perfectly transition to keep him engaged in nightly reading. The only reason I gave 4 status for this particular book was because my son is very sensitive and this one speak about “following in her mother’s footsteps” because she is not alive. He didn’t love that part but otherwise it’s been a great series. We’d both recommend this book especially if you are looking for dragon themed stories.

Bought as a gift for my daughter who is currently into dragons and I feel that she will love this book set. Chapters are easy to follow and there is some pictures which she likes.
