Just what my customer wanted. Super sturdy, easy to install, and fit perfectly. I used two different types of material to line it. Rock on the back wall and porcelain tile on the edges.

I had a contractor install this. Bought most of the supplies and was advises to go with the big orange shower boxes, but I wanted to give these a try first- since they are budget friendly. ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES. LOVE IT! Even though the boxes may not seem as "firm" and ridged as the orange box, my contractor has no issues installing or tiling them. Once the tile is up they are very sturdy and hold a lot of item. I love it. I have one more bathroom to remodel in my home and would buy again.

Save money on Sch.....er! There's no reason to not use this. Plastic is very thick and rigid.

Because the niche is so large, there is some flex in the main area. Since I used a very small mosaic, I was concerned about grout cracking over time. It is recessed into the wall but there is a small space between the niche and the drywall in the next room. I made a small hole and sprayed in expanding foam to reduce the room for flex.
