Best transition cups out there!.
I transitioned both of my daughters from bottles to these straw cups once they turned 1. They are easy to use, and easy for them to learn to use it. I added a bit of yogurt on the tip of the straw and that’s how they learned. Within 2 days both were drinking fine. These cups are a must have, they are very durable! They have fallen a few times, but have not broken. The only thing is that if it’s hot weather, the liquid does rise up and create a spill. They are easy for them to hold, and fit well in a diaper bag.

I wish I had known about these a year ago.
I would have had my son on straws a year ago. He's a few weeks from 2 years old, and because he was a bit behind in speech development, it was recommended we lose the sippy and get him on straw drinking. Problem is, he's been drinking from a bottle and sippy his whole life, and he tips up his drink, just out of habit. So, two months after I've given up possibly dehydrating my son (exaggerating; that was never a danger) by only letting him drink during supervised sessions, and enduring many fits because I wouldn't let him hold the cup, THIS MIRACLE product shows up in my recommendations on Amazon. It's simply a godsend. I don't caaaarrrrre that it takes three different tools to clean. Sponge for cup, bottle brush for lid. Special straw brush (provided) for the straw. (Which, by the by, manufacturer, can you please not bother giving me a bendy straw brush for a bendy straw? Thing is, the straw can get straight. The brush? Cannot. Fixed handle, please.) The straw brush included SUUUCKS but it works. At first, I thought, How Cool, this little bendy brush for a bendy straw...but it's TINY and hard to grip, Especially when you've got soapy hands. Also, because it is flimsy, and the straw is flimsy, things get weird. If you don't put the lid on properly, and I'm talking EXACT pressure here, it will back-fill and ooze liquid from the top of the straw. Doesn't happen all the time, but gets worse as the cup gets older. Other brands have done the same thing, so I'm used to it, and adjust accordingly. I'm not even sure it's the lid's fault. I might be overfilling. Whatever. It drips sometimes from the straw. Not often, maybe once every few days. But, in all seriousness, I am grateful for this. My toddler has already improved in his speech development because he is able to drink as he's used to, while developing the muscles in his mouth. The weighted straw allows him to lay back and drink his juice while he's listening to stories, or sucking down milk at naptime, or just tip the cup up because that's what he's done forever. There isn't just a taaaad bit of milk left in the bottom because it got caught in a pocket, because the straw reaches every bit of the inside of that cup. I love these cups. LOVE. I feel like I am winning at life every time I hand one to my son. Spill that, kid. Hide it somewhere when you're done so that I find it in two days, 'cause there's nothing in it to go sour. Challenge accepted, Mom. He still gets the last laugh, though; I have to wash it.

Great quality, sturdy strong bottles
I absolutely love these cups but I should’ve started my baby with the handled ones first. These cups don’t leak no matter how aggressive the throw is. They come apart easy and are easy to clean. They are priced high, in my opinion, but honestly worth the cost. These bottles will last me a long time.

Great for traveling and everyday use
I love the Muchkin brand. These are tall and fit car seat holders so well. Like the weighted straws so toddler/baby can get every last drop. Down side is cleaning the stretchy straws and sometimes can leak from the lid. Overtime the lids start to not snap on as well. Great value for money. Colors blue and green as pictured.

Value for money
Once you hear the click when you close it, it’s leakproof there after. Love this. Straw is always a hassle for a person like me to clean. My hands are always slippery. So it gets difficult to clean the straw but the bottle and other items are dishwasher free. Love this bottle. My baby loves it too. I used it for both my babies. 7 years later this product is still of same quality. They’re great

Review after MONTHS of use.
I bought these for my son who was learning to drink from a straw and transition from sippy cups. These are very hard to drink out of IF your little one is just learning to use a straw. The Dr. Browns straw bottle that was similar is a great in between before this one. It is leak proof but still takes effort to drink. I eventually tried these again and he now wants nothing to do with any other bottle but these. He is able to get every single drop of water because of the weight which turns in all directions, whether laying down or standing. These tend to get moldy easily, but I wash them regularly in the dishwasher, or just rinse them out daily to refresh them. They leak a fair bit, but not enough for me to quit use. Just be aware of what colors you're putting in that could leak. Overall, my son loves them and so do I!

Toddler accepted, Pain to clean
So in transitioning from a bottle to drinking cow’s milk out of a cup, my 1 year old has rejected many cups, but finally accepted this one! So that is the great part, that he actually drinks his milk out of this cup, however, this cup makes a HUGE MESS, the milk leaks and splatters everywhere. And the straw is absolutely brutal and time consuming to clean. Pros: my kid likes it, cons: it’s a pain otherwise

Perfect size, easy for my son to use
My son loves these so much I ordered two more. The weighted straw helps new straw learner to use it with ease. There have never been any leaks for me but if you use warm milk some may come out the top of the straw. Size is perfect for a two year old.

My son was breastfed until a year old. Around 8 months he was showing interest in straws so I decided to try these cups as I liked their features. My son caught on to them quickly and uses these all the time now and never bothered with bottles. Their ability to be used at any angle is great, and my son has been testing that out more and more. I use one for milk/pediasure and the other one for juices/water. They have a few difficult spots to clean but with a bottle brush and the provided straw brush you just need to take a minute or two and make sure it's all clean. I do find they leak pretty easy if they have build up pressure (from change of temperature or being tossed around) so I just make sure to twist the top off and on quickly to release the pressure before opening and be sure to check that the straw suction piece is attached properly to the lid as it can leak if detached (happens from my son feeling the need to toss it if I don't take it from him within the 2.5 seconds he decides he is done with it). Even with the time needed to check they won't leak and clean them I love these cups; they are super durable and great for my son.
