1" thick for Volvos with a 1" cabin filter housing. High quality. Fits my V70 25T
Volvo 2004 V70 25T A few years ago a bought a Mann cabin filter for my Volvo, then misplaced it. I found it and wen to install it. It was too thick. It turns out there are two different V70 cabin filter housings and the part's manufacturers do not walk you through which fits. By all accounts the Mann filter should fit my car, but is a full half inch too thick. So I got online and found this, with next day shipping. It is the correct 1" thickness and had more surface area than the filter I took out, and the $30 Mann, which did not fit. Good deal.

A decent filter
This is a decent and usable CA filter. A bit soft so care must be taken installing it in the climate control unit to avoid damaging the filter. worked fine after installing. Not as good as the O.E volvo filter but also way less expensive. Would buy and use again.

A unexpected quality upgrade over bosch.
Im normally the kind of guy that just goes for oem everything for my volvo. However, the options for air filter were limited. I rolled the dice on this after being displeased with boschs option and not wanting to get the more expensive option from IPD. This is a great fit on my 01 v70 and is a clear upgrade over the basic bosch.

It seemed like it was the right filter with the right orientation for my 2005 Volvo v70. The airflow direction arrow is very confusing, and I'm glad that there was only one way I could install my filter because I don't know if I could have figured out the arrow. A whole bunch of pine needles fell out from the old air filter, so it seems to me that changing these things from time to time is actually important!
