The well-contemplated design is something different and will allow for excellent drainage, important when soggy roots can be a problem. The saucers are 5 1/2" across, perfect to place the pots on my sunny kitchen window sill. The size is just right for me, but pay attention to the diagram for exact measurements as nursery pot volume alone can be a confusing measure of actual size.
