Large Exercise Balance Pad

Love this thing! Used it in PT and it REALLY works your balance muscles. Got one for home to continue exercises after PT ended. Didn't want to lose the progress I had made.

This is very good for balance. It’s reasonably priced and will do wonders for my mom. I’d buy from this seller again.

I bought this to add a degree of difficult to the balance exercises I am doing. I got the XL size since I have big feet. It is large enough for me to use for a toe to heel stance on the diagonal. It is thick and springy and the textured surface prevents it from sliding on my hardwood floor. I am happy with the quality and use it every day. Good addition to my routine.

Post surgery and after an 18 month illness that left me nearly bed ridden, atrophy in one leg set in requiring extensive rehab and PT. This matt help with balance and it does a superb job in retraining the brain and muscles in learning to walk and balance again. It doesn't look like it would but, because it is soft and spongy, our body starts tipping over in one direction or another. By looking straight ahead and stepping onto this matt, our brains tell our feet calf's, thighs hips, and especially our lower backs to work and maintain balance.

I bought it for doing my home PT exercises. My foot is about 10 1/2 inches and one of my exercise is standing straight up healed the toe sit down my feet actually fit on the pad. It’s nice and firm. Spend a little more money and buy this size and don’t buy the smaller one.

I bought this to include in my home gym. I'm taking balance therapy and I have duplicated several items used in my therapy for use at home. This is identical to one I'm using with my balance therapist and it works exactly like the ones I use in therapy. Great tool and I'm glad I decided to buy it.

I’m 76 years old and had very bad balance. I was hospitalized because of a very serious fall. And my Ins. provided me with a PT trainer. She showed me a regiment of exercise exercises and then we worked with a balance pad. So I bought this pad and I’m very happy with it. I use it almost every day in my exercise routine and it’s helped me tremendously. I do caution users with using this pad, especially if you’re by yourself to take all precautions when using it. I was shown to use it in front of a sink, preferably the kitchen sink so you have something stable to hang onto. I’ve been using the Matt now for two months and I can do my balance exercises near the sink free handed, but if I feel I’m off balance, it’s so easy to grab onto the sink. The instruction book that’s included is way out of my range. I showed it to my trainer and she even admitted some of the exercises would be a little hard for her, so don’t give up with a little tenacity it should improve your balance.

I was looking for something similar to the balance pad I saw at my physios gym. That one was at least 3X the price of this one. The quality is almost identical however. Happy with the purchase but shipping took FOREVER.
