I was scared to get a mandoline because I am a very accident prone person. let me just say it's actually hard to get yourself hurt from this thing. I definitely recommend, especially if you like making cucumber salads! I like that it's adjustable too, how thick you cut it.

Great product. Easy to hold and use. Slicing onions and cucumbers are a breeze. Harder vegetables like sweet potatoes was difficult but white potatoes were great. We made delicious potato chips. It’s very light. The attachment that holds the vegetables is a little flimsy so watch your fingers.
