I bought it to weigh orphaned kittens that I foster. I currently have NINE in my care and pay for everything but their medical care out of my own pocket, so money is TIGHT. You cannot get an accurate weight on a kitten like shown in this photo. First off, the scale area is far too small, even for a 4-6 week old kitten. If you do put a larger bowl on top that will fit the kitty and then put that on the scale, the weight won't stop flickering and goes up and down a lot.In summary, I wasted my money on this, money I don't have. I ended up having to borrow a scale from another foster mom in order to get accurate weights on my nine fosters until I can afford to go buy another scale that actually works.
