I absolutely love this ironing board. It's easy to setup. I now iron in half the time I used to iron. This iron heats in about two minutes (this maybe the negative about this product). The steam is priceless. The performance is undeniable. The wrinkles literally falls on both sides of the pants, shirts, etc. I never take my board down. Now I don't mind ironing...it's actually exciting.

Steam galore
I'm a quilter and LUV high steam for pressing my blocks. I still have my Swiss made Elna press from 1972 and it's working just fine and admire the quality. I wanted this system to work, but it stumbled. I'm a senior, not the body strength I used to have and it was very heavy and all I could do to get it upstairs to my sewing room. I get the standard shape "pointed end" board, but for quilting I want to lay the 42" across without misshaping the fabric. My existing special topper could be used but then why have the fan. I reluctantly returned it and now using the Lift Xtra and still getting used to it. I can say it has mighty steam that I love, but getting used to the 10 min warm up and the heavy cord [on all models] is awkward and still getting used to.

FIVE STARS.
I am very happy with this product. The instructions for set up were hard to follow because they jumped from one section to another and then back again... but we searched and watched set-up videos on Youtube and we were golden. So far the Lauastar S Pure Xtra system has been worth the investment.
