Wonderfully brilliant
I bought this book by accident and started reading it without knowing what it was about. However I have really loved the book and am taking a couple of techniques on board that have really helped. I am now doing a course to fully embrace the understanding and techniques. Very informative, clear guidance and easy to follow

This is my 1st Ayurvedic book I have read and it was a great book . I have already started to put in practice a lot of the info in here. I am also Kapha and can not believe just how Kapha I am so I will be following everything to the T in time . I will be referring back to the book for help forever . Thank you so much . A great read x

A brilliant place to start for Ayurveda
I really like this book. I'm new to Aryuveda and I found this book to be a very helpful introduction. I read it quite quickly, it's set out nicely so I understood it easily.

Great intro book into Ayurveda
Loved the book! It really provided a comprehensive intro into Ayurveda lifestyle and have already planned some routine changes as suggested in the book.

Excellent nutritional book for people wanting to eat natural foods!
I bought this book many years ago and I lost it, so it was good to see a copy of it advertised on Amazon recently. It is just what I wanted as I wish to change my diet into eating more mung beans, lentils etc. It is a very informative book.

This book doesn't really work in audible - buy the paperback or kindle version!
The 3 stars is for the audible version and I feel a bit mean about this as I think I would have probably given 5 stars if I'd bought the book. I listened to the sample and thought it sounded so interesting but once I'd got the whole book I realised that this is a book that does not translate well into audible. Unfortunately, listening to it just feels like you're being read one long list and it just doesn't work. However, I've since had a look the paperback preview and will probably go ahead any buy it because it does look interesting, concise and accessible - just not in audible version!

Great starter book
Great book for getting to grips with the ideas behind Ayurveda and I’m hoping to use the principles to help ease the pain and exhaustion of M.E whilst keeping a positive attitude. Spoiler alert: you might have to look at your pooh.

Very good book and easy to read.
Very useful introduction to Ayurveda. I read the book within days and I have tried the golden milk recipe on page 60. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it!

Bought it as a gift for a foreign friend. It’s written from an outsider’s perspective covering just the tip of the iceberg called Ayurveda. The content is elementary and easy to understand. A good read for non-Indian nationals.

It has a very very high level and mostly westernised version of Ayurveda. Some concepts are also missing. I would recommend other books like Vasant Lad’s which are easy to follow and have all the relevant info. It’s probably for someone curious about the subject but not interested in following it deeply.
