Product arrived today came very quickly. It came already pre-programmed. It's pretty easy to adjust the settings. An once you adjust the settings you can lock those settings per se into what you chose, you can lock all 3 of them. Meaning they wont work at all, if u slide the side button into lock position & when you're ready to use it , just slide the side button back to unlock , then you can press the option of beep, vibrate or shock that you need. it works well easy to control. Will do the job has different types of beeps in setting on 3 to get your dog's attention, some are higher pitched, some are, a little bit lower pitched, but you can hear all of them. It's probably a good idea to change it around, so he/she doesn't get used to the same beep every time. So if your dog is chewing on something and not listening to you, you can beep it, to get his attention. If he still continues to do it, you can make it vibrate. Only vibrates on that option, it does not hurt him. It just feels like a vibration if he's continuing to do something detrimental to himself or someone else, then you can put it on a shock, you only need it on, maybe a setting 1 or 2, sends a little electrical current. It definitely will get his attention without hurting him. but if you have a breed, That can hurt someone or himself by not listening until they are fully trained. But it's good to have, because just like humans, we all make mistakes and with a dog. All you need is that one mistake to get run over or get taken away from you? So yes, I've seen some reviews where people say it's inhumane or mean, but would you rather lose your dog if they bit someone or somebody else's pet thinking they were protecting you. I do suggest this. We have a rottweiler puppy. That is 55 pounds at 4 months old. His dad was a 154 pounds. He's going to be huge, he has temper tantrums sometimes and is testing us. We're familiar with the breed, but we are older, so sometimes he's hard to handle. Even though it's both of us working with him daily But it will shock the crap out of you, on setting 3, I got to test it out on hubby was the best funnest part! It's definitely a good training tool. It's high quality came already programmed. Paired with the one collar. It is easy to see, it has a digital screen. It's about the size of a 2 way radio, you can carry it in your hand as you're walking, is it has a little wrist loop., i'm glad I read the other reviews. You could scroll through these for hours. This is the best price for a quality product and it's easy to use. And understand. it is a good training collar. you don't have to shock your dog, you can just use the buzzer or send a vibration. The beep, or low voltage shockwave, if he was running out in the road or going to bite someone or chasing another dog. something Like that, that would keep you from losing your dog. a lot of people Yes, think it's inhumane, but so is having your taken away. 99% of the time that 1 low shock they've got it. And once they have the collar on after the beep an the buzz. they know what's next. You never have to use it, The shock part again. Excellent battery life on the collar itself. Simple controls on the controller. Each function has its own button on the handheld controller: Four buttons total and one knob to change the levels of each function. One button for tone, one for vibrate, one for static shock, one for boost static shock. The turn knob at the top to change the levels of everything: Just press the control knob down repeatedly until you find the desired function/effect, it will blink on the screen and then turn the knob to cycle through the levels. Levels: There are 8 different tones, 16 levels of vibration, 99 levels of static shock. My dog has very long hair. If the prongs aren't on the skin, even level 99 doesn't stop him. He feels it, but it doesn't stop him. He is also very high strung, high energy. However, if the dog has short hair or if the hair around the neck is kept trimmed, it's is REALLY, REALLY effective. Also, the range is awesome. My dog likes to escape like a sailor on Liberty Call, and I can sound the tone from far away and figure out his location. I would definitely purchase this one again. The battery life on the collar itself makes it worthwhile. We've had it for weeks, used it extensively and only charged the collar once. It is rechargable and comes with the charger cable. You'll have to provide your own adapter. This is the best training collar I've ever purchased. So much easier to use than the more well-known name brands.

I like this item I do not use the shock feature at all. love how i could take the shock prongs off and the vibration and sound are more than enough to correct my dog, I have been working on training him to walk with me without a leash and it is working perfectly. when he tries to run off just a beep will correct him to come back to me. I took a walk testing the distance before i ever put it on him and I was so surprised and pleased by it. My dog is friendly 95% of time to cat and other animals but we understand that he still might not be friendly with some strange animals that he does not know and will run for them and we never know how he going to react to them but we don't have a fenced-in yard and want him to be able to run and play and get his energy out, He does not go outside alone ever but to keep up with him can be hard but we try and now this collar has made his life so much more enjoyable. he knows his commands but doesn't always react to them with this collar he just needs a beep or vibration and he become the best dog ever.

This collar is great. I like the long range it has. The remote is light and easy to carry around. I like that the beep noise is so loud. The only issue I have, is the battery on the collar doesn't last long. The collar can fit along with a normal collar for walks without causing discomfort.

Two unexpected things happened, one with each of the two parts to this product. I had the control unit in my pocket and removed my shorts and thew them into the washer. NOT the waterproof part. This was screwd together and glued together so that I was unable to take it apart for drying. There was water which poured out of is so it was definitley wet inside. After about 3 wks of drying I plugged it in for charging and it worked!!! However the collar NO LONGER worked. It was never in water deeper than a few inches BUT was in ocean/salt water. It did NOT work. Apparently the collar is NOT appropriate for salt water or simply was not waterproof. One other good thing to say is that my dog is sensitive enough to the vibration that I never used the audible or shock control with her. I am purchasing another training colar but a different brand.

We have a beagle and invisible fence around a rather large yard. I was having problems with her not wanting to come inside when called so I bought this trainer to remedy that problem. (I think they know when they are free and you can’t catch them)! The very first time I used it, I used only the sound function and she responded immediately. On occasion, I have found that if she is being extremely recalcitrant I may have to use the vibration function as well, but this is unusual. I have never used the shock function on her nor have I needed to. The sound and vibrate functions always work for her. She now has learned to come inside when called and I very seldom need to use the unit anymore for that purpose. I have found this product to be well made, although the hand unit is deceptively light. I have had this product for quite some time now and am very pleased with it. By the way, I also use it to control her occasional barking but, for a nuisance barker I would probably recommend a dedicated bark collar. For stopping occasional barking, however, this unit works great! This is a solid device that works as promised. It appears to transmit a considerable distance (farther than I need actually), and even transmits through walls. So, if your dog is barking, you don’t even have to go outside to give it a warning tone. This is a very nice product for the money and has helped me train my dog in a safe and humane manner. By the way, for those who may have underground fence systems, I found that having multiple tone options allows you to select a tone that is different from your fence collar which avoids confusion. My dog had no problem adjusting to the two systems. I’m not sure, however, that I would try to train the dog to both systems at the same time. From personal experience, however, working in this training collar after your dog has been trained to the fence is not a problem. I also recommend being outside with your dog during initial use and training so it understands what is going on and to endure that your dog is correctly responding to the training. Once your dog is trained it quickly understands the commands and promptly obeys them. It’s a great product for avoiding aggravation and has actually improved my relationship with my dog! Highly recommend but should be used sensibly and with compassion for your pet. A little correction goes a long way.

I'm really impress with the quality of both the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter has auto shutoff when the buttons are locked. The receiver (collar) has and on/off button which is really nice to help conserve the battery when not in use. Easy set up and features two channels so you could potentially add a second collar and control both using the single remote control. I also like the small design of the receiver on the collar, much nicer than my previous model from a few years ago. My dog responds very well to the beep so I don't have to use the the other features but they work, I tried them on myself before putting it on my dog. It comes with a couple of extra prongs for the collar as well as some rubber buttons to go over them to prevent accidental shock and irritation.

I watched many videos and found that this one got the best reviews. Wow, they weren't wrong, this works GREAT! Instructions are easy to read and functioned as stated. It is well made, I have dropped the remote several times and it held up nicely. Out of all the models this one had the most sounds to it and vibrations. The battery life is amazing! I used it from 7am to 11pm and it still had battery life. I like that it has a lock button so that you don't accidently push any buttons. I also like that there is one button to switch from collar to collar. Makes training so much easier, and it also displays on the remote. The remote is light weight and the collars work from a good distance. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the collars are starting to wear out. I've used them for almost a week, haven't had them long but where I cut the strap it is starting to unravel at the ends. This would be five stars all the way if the company would get better collars like on their other models. Other than that the design is spot on it works perfect and I highly recommend this product.
