I've had zero issues at home or on stage when it comes to noise. I don't know if it's true isolation or not, I just know it is quiet for me. Build quality is cheap, but I'm not holding that against it because of how inexpensive it is and it just works. Just make sure you know what you are powering before buying this as there are six 100mah outlets and only one 300mah. Update: I replaced the SD-1 on my board with a Fender MTG Tube Tremolo which has been reported by some to be a noisy pedal and this was also my experience while using this power supply. I then upgraded to a Voodoo Lab X4 and it drastically reduced the noise. I still believe this is a great power supply for the money.
