This is a great hedge trimmer for the price. It’s small enough that it’s easy to maneuver, but long enough that it can work through a hedge quickly. It does not come with an extension cord, but as you can see in the attached photo, you just plug one directly into the back of the tool. There is also a somewhat hidden screw that has to be removed in order to place the guard that comes with the trimmer in front of the blades (circled in the attached image.) I do wish that this hedge trimmer came with a cover for the blades so it could be stored more safely and it does have a little bit of trouble getting through thicker or denser branches. However for cleaning up the box woods around my house it does the job just fine and I am very happy with how well it works given how affordable it is. It is much more efficient than trying to trim shrubs by hand with shears.

It is light and cuts well

Bought this to replace my corded 22 inch. Really like the smaller size and compactness. Very effective cutting and easy to maneuver. Battery life seems good for my needs which aren''t extensive. A bit slower and less powerful than my previous trimmer but the tradeoff in maneuverability and ease of use are well worth it.

***product does not come with cord so make sure you have one the negative reviews gave me pause but I am a fan of small black&decker products so I just bit the bullet and got this one. This is my first electronic trimmer and I love it so far! Cuts on certain branches are not clean cut like how it would be if I used shears... not sure if I'm doing it right but it gets the job done. I was able to prune my old Azalea bushes that have woody branches. it took me awhile to put on the shield thing, you have to push it in to lock it into place and then screw on the screw. It was confusing because it fit well on the trimmer so I didn't realize I had to push it in further so that it lines up with the machine's grooves. also, a little silly but I did cut my cord a little so you still have to be careful where the cord is relative to the blade...

Excelente, la verdad esperaba menos pero cumplió completamente con mis expectativas, terminé de podar un arbolito en 30 min. No me dedico a eso pero si necesitas hacer ese tipo de trabajos en casa, es suficiente.

Es una herramienta muy ligera y facil de usar. La sacas de la caja y a trabajar. Eso sí, hay que ser muy cuidadoso al usarla para evitar accidentes.

I am so happy I picked this trimmer. I used it to trim very heavy overgrowth of weeds and grasses in our ditches, it is light and so easy to use. Did a great job cleaning it up. I especially like that it is light so it's easy on my arms. And the price is very reasonable.
