I'll just say that after trying some other reflective discs, these spiral reflectors accomplished what the others could not! They rotate at the slightest breeze, create intense reflective "dots," are BEAUTIFUL to look at and have QUICKLY gotten rid of our bird problem. To top it off, we've had hover flies for decades hanging out near our porch and patio without any hope of shooing them away, but something about the movement of light must've scared them off, because they are GONE! We can eat on the patio table without the kids getting grossed out by the very harmless (yet annoying) flies. I am sending these to all my family members! Please give these a try if you've had bird/hover fly problems! Worst case scenario, you can return them according to the return policy.

Very pretty in the sunshine, easy to assemble, very sturdy in high winds. Very reflective. I only gave it a four though as apparently the birds in our area, doves, Spotted doves, have no fear and go right through. You might have better luck with smaller birds.

I didn’t know what to expect. I purchase these hopefully to deter the amount of crows that we have coming to our front yard. I think they’ll do their job but even if they don’t, they are beautiful, well crafted heart spinners. They come in individual packages, they are remarkably sturdy and I’m hoping they do the trick but if not, they are a beautiful piece to put up on your yard. these are brand new and they have not gone through any kind of rain season. As of yet I will provide a six month update once we do simply to find out if they do any kind of rusting or not.

They do work well at keeping away birds, but the first windy day left them lying in pieces all over the yard. The hooks used to join the sections together and top one for hanging them off the gutter or whatever are totally useless. Had to re-engineer the whole thing from top to bottom, replacing all those hooks with spring clips, then a larger spring clip at top of each for hanging through eyebolts in the roof fascia, and finally, a 5 oz. fishing sinker weight at the bottom of each to help stabilize them in the breeze and wind. Lot of work and some unexpected costs to do these modifications, but they are working great now at keeping away those pesky birds.

I would have given 0 stars if possible. Firstly, if you look at the pictures and watch the video, the items in those, according to the ad, are "mirror finish stainless steel." Ok, let me tell you what you'll actually be getting FOR $26!!!... 1. The ones I got were circular (not hearts). 2. They are smaller than the palm of my hand (which is completely incongruent with the pictures and video, which show something much larger than even a hand with fingers all extended). 3. They're PLASTIC! One of them broke the first night when the wind gusted (I was able to fix by replacing one of the plastic discs, but still!!!). 4. You get to build them yourself (It wasn't difficult at all, but for $26, you'd think they could at least put them together. Don't waste your money. The ONLY reason I am not returning them is because I bought them hastily because I needed them to put on our cabin to deter woodpecker while it's closed for the winter season, and I did not open them until we'd travelled 12 hours to our destination. Bottom line: I left them up, but I fully expect to not even be able to find them in the spring.

So fun to watch birds, they swoop in and then they startle and fly away! Saves a lot on catfood
