Good little motors. Work well in my RC ship

these are cheap but work for classroom experiments. And if I burn one up not a huge loss. Have a decent amount of torque for their size. Windings are 4 ohms so current draw is low. bought a batch from another vendor and those were 1 ohms. Works as a good generator so once power is removed your can short its connections to bring them to a quick stop. Got what I expected for the price. My students used these with a gearbox to create a battery powered car. While I didn’t test them all, we didn’t have any duds. One of the tabs on a motor snapped off. However, my middle school students don’t have a gentle touch. These are great for projects. I had my Science Olympiad team try this out in their battery buggy. At this price, these are a cheap way to experiment. Given all the other factors that go into building an electric car, I doubt this would be the weakest link. When all else is equal, though, I do not recommend using these on competition day.

Used this for my nephew project, and he loved it! After purchasing multiple part's realized that Amazon has kits that includes everything you need! Still ordered the kit for future use with so many young relatives

I've tried multiple types of 130 motors. These are the best I've come across. The maintain their torque under load. You'll find the iron core of 130 motors will vary in size (you can get 5mm, 6mm, and 8 mm cores). These are 8 mm, so the windings (loops) are the largest possible. I use with 7.4V batteries and they work fantastic. As I said, they are the best and strongest 130 motors I've come across.

The product name for these DC Motors states, "Carbon brush," as well as one of the bullet points under the product name states, "Carbon brush." However, all 10 of the motors I received were manufactured with cheap copper brushes rather than the stated carbon brushes [see the attached photo, which shows the actual brush that came with the motors I received]. Either please remove the term "Carbon Brush" from this product page or, more preferably, please start selling DC Motors with actual Carbon Brushes.

I bought these for a project. I have run them for burst of upto 3 minutes. They appear to stay within a good temperature. I do wish the Venta were configured differently, but they are great.
