Beardbrand is amazing! The lumber yard scent smells incredible and it keeps my beard soft and smelling great. I have a long beard that goes down past my neck and about a quarter's worth of Beardbrand does the trick! You should definitely melt the balm first by putting the jar in boiling water for 5 min. Once melted, put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Once you take it out of the fridge you will have a very smooth balm with no clumps. Definitely recommend! I will continue to buy again and again!

Great product. The small bits that people complain about easily dissolve and it smells great and softens beard very well. Was going to buy again but, as is this companys habit they just constantly make their products more expensive and gives less. I see now the price has more than doubled and is now 2 oz instead of 3. Won’t ever be buying again from them. 5 stars for what they used to be. 0 stars for what they now are.

I love this product, but it's a pain to use because they're a little white pieces of wax that will not dissolve properly. This has happened on the last two jars of the stuff. You have to pick this out or rub them in and hope they go away. The first jar I had of this product worked fine (no white plastic-feeling pellets), so I don't know if it's a quality issue or designed this way now.

I have a very high maintenance beard, so I keep it short to about at about a 1 or a 3 (max) when shaving it pretty much year-round. When it does grow out longer than an inch or two, it starts drying my skin out even with the proper diet, care, and products. That’s just the way it is. This utility balm has helped me tremendously. It lasts a good while as far as product amount goes too so you are getting a good amount. It’s super easy ti apply. It’s not too runny and not too solid. Just the perfect consistency, in my opinion. I’ve used it on my hands, elbows, and knees too. My skin and beard feel great after using this and it feels super light. It will maintain your skin and beard nourished pretty much all day and keep it looking healthy. The smell is not too subtle but it’s not overwhelming either. You know it’s there but it’s not bothering you or anyone and when people do come close enough, you’ll get a compliment on it. Definitely buying again.

I ordered this after having a great haircut at the Beardbrand barbershop in Austin. It was less expensive than other Beardbrand products, so I thought I was getting a bargain. This product is greasier than I was anticipating. The product used in the shop had a matte finish. This has a slicker finish. It also has little balls that don’t disappear when you rub the product in your hands. I think it may have been stored incorrectly or subjected to temperature extremes. I won’t by this particular product again, although I will buy other Beardbrand products.

Loved the softness and how it moisturized my skin underneath but the scent actually smells like ash to me

This was one of my first products from Beardbrand. I love the ingredients. It not only makes the beard soft and stay in place, I use on my face, arms and hands as moisturizer. I like the lumber yard scent and have bought this many times. Pairs great with the styling balm for extra hold on moustache and stubborn beard hairs. I've tried several different brands and come back to this everytime.

I have tried many beard/utility balms and this is one of, if not the best one. It is creamy, easy to use, and smells great. You can use the leftover on your hands on your eye brows and hair. A good trick if it has the little hard balls in it is to warm the jar in a hot water bowl to melt all the balm. Once it cools and hardens, it will not have those little balls and be so much easier to use. Try it, you will enjoy this product.
